So yeh... hopefully we can tileset up. I am quite positive You can play with a tileset, people just need to convert it back for example and LNP is awesome for that.

Hi guys, just started playing this with the help of a tutorial, but i just get stuck at the point where i should dump loose stones to my garbage. My problem is that i cant say what loose stones look like. Is there a list with the single tiles describing what each tile is for?
thanks!

The large dot represents stones. After 34.07 (I think), mining rock drops much fewer stones, but they also yield more when processed. You might have gotten unlucky with the drop rate, or you could have been mining soil / clay / sand, which doesn't contain stones.

Whoops forgot to mention i use the phoebus tileset. But the clay/sand explanation sounds reasonable, so i would just have to dig at deeper levels?
Thanks!

Yea, depending on the site you're at, you might have half a dozen levels of non-stone before actually reaching rock. Delve deeper!

Try out a dig pattern of up/down stairwells like this. [d]esignate [i]nterstairwell:
this will reveal an area of a floor like so:
OOOOO OXOXO OOXOO OXOXO OOOOO
which is pretty sub-optimal but will get you enough info to tell IF there is stone on that level. Just go down like 5-6 Z-levels and you'll find something.

I'm trying to get a hospital running so I need some water *shudder*. I only have a couple really small ponds close to my fortress.
If I build, say, a 2x2x2 container with stone floor, can I just channel in some water there and it won't become stale? or will the water get muddy on the way there?
I'm confused by this water business

Water is only considered "muddy" if it's in a tile with mud. Moving it to a fresh tile de-muddies it. To clean water from a murky pool, run it through a Screw Pump. This also cleans saltwater.

Due to personal obligations I will have to forfeit my turn as well. Sorry guys
