well I see your point. But is it really that bad to see the MJ ads in the time when nothing else is happening anyway? And with the Gomplayer ads I actually didn't update just because of that, I really dislike these ads...

Dude it's GOM. They're like the greediest stream and that's saying a lot. I mean, whatever if the Korean scene is rocky and it needs to use 180p for the free stream and put ads in everywhere that's fine. But I understand what I'm paying (or for this month, Not) paying for.

I swear people don't understand the concept of no ads... they mean you won't get pop over ads on the stream or vods. They don't mean that you won't have to see their SPONSORSHIP spots..... kids these days, you really don't understand how business works.
ever watched a football (soccer) match? Notice how they all have sponsors across their shirts, boards around the stadium etc? thats it the equivalent, there are no ads during the match, only at half time and instead sponsors get to have their shit splashed around the stadium.
If you want to start moaning about sponsor spots then you could equally argue that you paid for no ads but that players have sponsor badges on their shirts and that constitutes an advertisement.
Plus if you read things properly, they only refer to POP UP ads, not sponsorship spots being removed by paying extra.... I've never paid for the ad free one and have yet to see an ad anyways.... go figure

Yeah, the Monsieur J ads are just part of the stream filler during breaks. It's just part of the stream -- I don't even know if Hot6ix and Monsieur J are sold outside of Korea, so it's not like they're going to make any money by showing ads to viewers that can't buy the product. The stream ads aren't even intrusive -- it's a freaking break, they're just filling time, what else do you want them to do? Give you a black screen so you don't have to watch some hilariously bad Korean ads that don't in any way affect you?
I don't know, I don't really see why this is something you'd be angry about. As far as I understood it, the no-ad subscription was so that you wouldn't get popup ads on your VODs, anyways, nothing about stream content. Speaking of which, despite my hatred of the GomPlayer, they don't have any popup ads like you'd get on Twitch or Own3d, which I'd say is a plus in their favor if ads really bother you so much.

and obviously you will get the ads aired on live stream because its part of the program herp derp, but you dont have any ads on the vods herp derp

I understand your frustration but obviously they are not going to create and air two different programs just for the subscribers.

Kids don't need business knowledge here, only basic english. If you buy something as "NO X" and it has "X", you didn't get what you paid for.

I can't find any reference to "pop up" ads, can you provide a link?

Ugh. Deal with it I guess. What about the players who are wearing team uniforms with ads on them? You want GOM to remove all those ad patches too? What about the studio, with their intel logos, sc2 headphones, monitor brand names? No ads right??

Whoa whoa, I am not at all complaining about sponsor product placement and team logos/sponsor. I am talking about the actual commercial that airs at the end of matches in the VODs. Not the stream, the VODs. Not the sponsorship logos during the cast, the actual 30 second commercial that is running after a matchup is played out.

why don't you just skip to the next vod, it doesn't force you to watch it.

Right, I do that. But that isn't the point. I've paid a premium to have no ads. Does that not matter?
