Let me introduce you to one of my favorite animes ever.
What is it? Well ZoW said it best.
"It's an anime where you see little girls getting raped by monsters"
Saki: Achiga-hen Episode of side A is a great horror anime anyone can enjoy. It's where a team of girls go out to try to defeat great demon lords only to end up raped badly.
^One of the great demon lord.
^Her face says, rape incoming
^The rape has been complete.
Here are some picture references.
If you enjoy a good horror anime I highly recommend Saki: Achiga-hen

So is this like School Days for the horror genre?

Thanks, this blog really made me realise what a great anime this is. I especially liked the pictures, they won me over for sure.

Sir or madam I'd like to thank you for notifying me that the second season (or spin-off?) of one of my all time favorite animes has finally come. I would have missed it!

I don't think any Anime serie can be compared to School Days. :-D

There is no rape between girls. It's "sex they didn't know they wanted"

Okay so wait who is this about in relation to the manga?
I tried watching the first saki anime but i got bored because i'd already read the manga and the plot was pretty much the same, is this different?

Besides seeing the main characters raped by all the monsters you knew and loved is a very refreshing change of pace.

I just wish that the got destroyed in a much more fancy manner. Because of the shitty 12-episode season, instead of having the 5-minute-long explanation of why the Haitei raoyue was so awesome (drowning animations included), they have this thing where it's like "OMFG Ryuumonbuchi is so boss" + eye flash/fade ==> post-game depression from the main charas because they just got wrecked in a game that we never saw.
Quite disappointing, even if it's a "side-story" and not a sequel. I think doing an anime with a plot that deviates much more from the manga during the Nationals arc (to include in more action from Saki vs her sister) would be better...

You see the anime expects you to know wtf they are doing. it's just like watching SC the casters kind of expect you to know wtf they are talking about.

This is different. Saying that this series is ok is like saying that the World Cup should consist of a 30-minute assortment of clips showing the players coming onto the screen and then just immediately skipping to the part where they exchange shirts, all with a shiny marquee at the bottom saying, "BRAZIL WON AGAIN!!!"

You're somewhat right, I guess the animators assumed you watched the original Saki, knew their special powers and just decided to skip to the after rape scene. Besides, showing rape on TV isn't good =/ jk
I get what you're saying and yeah I was disappointed with them not showing the drowning water rape.

I also saw School Days was mentioned here and I had heard good things about that anime so I decided to check it out, but I didnt realize it was horror genre bc I thought that the anime mentioned here wasnt a horror genre either.

For someone who has recently started animes this reminds me that many many, many anime genres exist.
