The Mid Year Examinations have been over for about a week now, and yet, the feeling of freedom that should have inundated me given that such a pressuring period of my life has passed has not arrived. Sure, my results were sub-par - an average score for Additional Maths (a fail) and Chemistry, slightly below average for Mandarin, Biology, Elementary Maths, and coming in third and fifth in the entire cohort for English and Humanities respectively. But surely, during this week I should have at least felt a little, minute taste of freedom.
But no. I just feel so tired of doing everything - reading, writing, gaming, etc. I feel as if I'm on auto-pilot the whole time. Today, I tried to start writing something. On Saturday night as well. But nothing came to me. I've just burned out, I think. Gaming is almost become a chore to me. I recently started to play Team Fortress 2, and initially, I was having a tremendous amount of fun playing as a Spy. But a few days later, after getting the Dead Ringer, things started to become a travail.
Maybe I'll start playing SC2 for a bit. Maybe I'll try to ladder, but most probably not. Flash lost to Effort, that was disappointing. Jaedong reminds me of myself. I get exam nerves during subjects I have the capability to score even better in.
Sigh, the recent PL was also a downer for me. How Kespa is treating BW now is distasteful, and BW deserves a better, more glorious, send-off than this miserable BS.
If anybody wants to play
TF2 - ooannaskyoo SC2 - Azera 955 or 995 , I can't remember. Sorry. (AM)
Man, I really know the feeling... I've gone through a battery of exams and I have a handful more left too, and I just don't feel like doing anything at the moment. That's a really good song, by the way, thanks for the rec; I don't know of any songs very close to it, but maybe try out Marconi Union's Weightless. That song is supposed to be relaxing (it is in my experience), and actually lowered the heartbeat of test subjects or something crazy (look it up on wikipedia), but I just find it a great song to chill to. It's a chill song, just ambient music w/o anything particularly interesting, but it's pretty cool. Don't know why I recommended it, but there it is. Don't veg out to it
Listen on 720p, youtube goes only up to 192 kbps bitrate quality, but there you have it--at 720p/1080p video quality Youtube bumps audio quality limit up to192 kbps afaik
Wish I could give you some advice, but a lot of your thoughts and even your writing style here were practically an exact copy of how I feel at the moment ><

Love this song.
And for the OP, here's something that always gives me hope when I need it.
