Their songs were fairly popular and the fact that they split the group to make side albums doesn't count as a failure. I don't care about the group at all, but to say they were a failure when almost every other new group did much worse than them is hilarious.
Miss A, Girl's Day, infinite, Teen Top, and Sistar all debuted the same year. They haven't released anything as a group since their debut album. Speed flopped. How is that considered successful?
You name 5 groups of the dozens of other nameless groups that no one cares to remember because they did much worse. Who said anything about successful? I'm simply saying the poll is pointless troll bait. For some reason you're trying to defend it.
Being B list is nothing to brag about. Being better than nameless is still not being successful, which is the point you were trying to make.
edit- to clarify, you're saying they're not failures because people know who they are, but really more is expected of them. All of those unknown groups come from mostly random startup companies that have no pull. Co-Ed is part of CCM, which as a subsidary of Mnet is a huge company. They have the pull to get them on all shows (especially Mnet ones) and really put their name out there. Not being recognized when being supported by such an influential group would be pretty much the same as coming out of a company like JYP and failing to win music shows or recognition at all. They're not unknown simply because CCM is large enough to keep thrusting their name out there, but the fact that they haven't gained any real mass popularity with all the support they're given is terrible.
Looking at the 2010 list, whatever happened to that one dude on SM the ballad that wasn't part of some other group? Did they just dump him?
And you continue to try and defend a pointless, hateful poll. Being better than nameless is still not being successful was not the point I was making, you would know that if you read my post. The rest of your post is irrelevant out of subjectivity.
State what qualifies as a failure so there can be a line drawn and everyone can say every group below this line are failures if that's what you're really trying to do here.
You mention more being expected of them, how about what people expect out of some of the most popular groups and look what they give. I shouldn't have to name names, because everyone knows. Are they failures as well?
It's apparent at this point that you either hate this group or just want to argue.

Hateful would be an overreaction.
You said that they were not failures. I said that if you have a huge company like MNet behind you and you can't generate any kind of mass popularity, you're failing.
I see every top tier group winning music shows every comeback, regardless of what I may think of their songs. SNSD, Wonder Girls, 2ne1, basically every big 3 group- wins every comeback regardless of who's promoting with them. That's what's expected of them, and that's they give.
I don't like them, but to simply strike down an argument because "you're a hater" is on the level of any AKP-level discussion, where they ban you for any discussion cause "you're an anti". CCM talked big at their debut, being the first Co-ed group and revolutionizing the industry and all. 2 years later and they still don't have another album out. They promoted 5dolls as 5dolls and Speed as Speed with Co-Ed added on after only as an afterthought. How can that be considered anything but a failure?

People have been banned for less than that poll. Let me make a poll asking which idol is fuglier and see how that goes.
So success means winning every show regardless of how shit your music is because of stupid fangirls who would eat shit if it was served to them by the right person.
Your last paragraph was irrelevant once again out of subjectivity. Not sure where you got the "strike down an argument because "you're a hater". You were explaining why you felt it was right to call them a failure. That's an opinion, not an argument.
That was a response to your sentence about "most popular groups and what they give". I merely pointed out that most groups perform consistently at their level of popularity and what is expected if you come out of a big entertainment company. The most popular groups win whenever they release new songs, period. Your sentence was vague but I fail to see how they don't deliver at all.
As for the last part, it was a reaction to your last sentence in your previous post ("you're either a hater or want to argue").
I've outlined why I consider them a failure, I'm just wondering how you can think that they're not failures- I haven't seen anything that would suggest anything close to them being successful or anything other than barely better than unknown at all.

I just don't see how me or anyone else should be the judge of whether a group is a failure or not. They had a couple good songs, people liked it, thought they were fine. Even 5dolls was good if you're only listening to the music. Sure, they weren't the most popular group of all time, but to say they failed because their company decided to not give them a second album is ridiculous. What does it achieve? I don't get it.
I know this place isn't for constructive discussion, but when all you have in here is pic spamming, fanboying, and circlejerking, and the occasional flame war, is it really necessary to add a poll like that to the cesspool?

Which group is the bigger failure
Now which word is success in there or implies it? It clearly implies that both groups are failures. The only thing it's asking is which is the bigger failure.
It's a (admittedly dumb) poll asking for opinions. Far stupider things have gone on here.
As for "company decided not to give them a second album"- I think you have it backwards. They're not unpopular because they didn't get a second album, they didn't get a second album because someone crunched numbers and figured it wouldn't be profitable to do so.
As for random shots at the thread- it can be and has been more than that, but if you're that discouraged by what goes on here, why even post?

idk, I know the whole thing is fixed but it's more obviously so when idols come on (cause ofc they have to win). Like the BB episode where literally everything goes their way. It's too obvious. I'd like them to at least pretend the games are legit.
More Jisook in anything is ofc ok with me. More Jaekyung too.
