So if you have an mmr of -12 one game, that would be 12 below your league, where 300 is above and 700 is the next one up? (Something to that effect)

You leave it open while you ladder and it graphs your MMR changes as your games finish.

This is equal for all leagues and don't say anything about the offset. We call adjusted points = points without any bonus influence. The question is: what is the offset between adjusted points. It is hard coded and don't change. i put in gm as 430 as long as we don't know better. The mmr is calculated on the adjusted points of your enemy not on yours. The important number is the change of the points. He change points depending to your adjusted and other way round. So if you points change because of demote/promote the change of the enemy change too and we still know your mmr. ps: To calculate the change in all special cases correctly, is the real task of this program! i use 2 completely different methods and cross-check them. Also if you don't use the ramscanner i still can take some of the data this way. All the data is than life collected before and after the game. So you must have sc2gears open before the game until 30 sec after the game.

It is 7 am and I just started the weak knowing my mmr is a meagre 116. Hell, that is depressing!

If did not play a master or gm this is not really your exact mmr. This is more the mmr compare to league/offset of your last enemy. Same with master enemys but we just define master offset as 0. ps: At the moment negative mmr is quite often in masters...

If it's a lot of extra stuff then I'll enable it, but at the moment it's simply saying 'better data'. Can you elaborate please? Thanks.

I'm trying to determine the functional differences before I enable something that 'strictly speaking' violates the TOS. If it's a lot of extra stuff then I'll enable it, but at the moment it's simply saying 'better data'. Can you elaborate please? Thanks. I read the name and the id = the bnet page of your opponent from the ram. I need this information: -your profile before game (settings) -opponent profile before game (ram) -your profile after game ( settings or replay) -opponent profile after game (ram or replay) If i only have post data, i can only calculate the mmr in 60% of the cases ( a lost - or a have bonus pool after game) If i have you profile before (what i have in this version), i can calculate your opponent 95% of the time. if i have opponent before game ( with ram scan ), i can calculate your MMR 95% of the time. Not 100% because of special cases e.g. you have 0 points. Also if i have both way -pre-post check and post calculation- the data is way more accurate. I don't want to say the ramscanner is 100% secure but many other harmless programs do the same and no one get banned for using one of them yet. I read 4 values of the memory of sc2. I don't change anything in the ram. i don't read or write any files of sc2 on your hard drive (besides replays). Ethic: the ram of your computer is yours. your computer read it, windows read it, many of the programs you run right now do so, and i dont see any reason for someone to deny me or you to read my own memory. The question is more how i use this data: e.g. read map and show it to you to have an unfair ingame advantage ( maphack) Practice: sc2 or warden can not detect the ramscann. what they can do, is flag my program as cheat and let warden search for it. But i don't see any reason why they should do this. On May 07 2012 15:32 Lefthanded wrote: Does it show the rating for sub master matches? It does. I show always the rating compare to the league+tier of your enemy. (disable known tiers only) Because there are more than 1 tier in dia and under, we dont know in what tier your enemy is = cant compare the mmr. However we need this data to find out. Even if the data is not 100% accurate for you it would be nice if you upload it. Overall i can say, that even without knowing the tier (because you play mostly the same mmr guys = tier guys) you get kind of accurate data over your improvement. You will sometimes see strange spikes when you play against a tier that is way higher - lower than your own. As soon as we know the tiers, i unlock a function to download the Tierfiles and you can compare your data with all leagues. To test my program i did a lot of laddergames. Because i care for the data not the result i lost them all ^^ (sorry who ever run against my 1 min leave or my bad executed 6 pool) the data i see in so far in lower league show exactly what it should: i suck...
