I grew tired of searching in google on what stuff there is to do in New York. I'm in New York for a week and I have no idea what I should do. I've lived here three years, but it was a long time ago and I was really young. Let's say I have visited most sightseeing things like times square, the brooklyn heights, wall street, empire state... I'm just curious what I could do with my time here. I was thinking of watching the musical The Book of Mormon but with a little bit of googling i think i understood that I gotta book tickets months and months forward... What about comedy clubs? any good comedy clubs?
I am also gonna be in vegas for a couple of days starting tomorrow. I have never been there so i sort of know what I expect to do there, but if anyone has ideas, I would gladly listen through everything, even though I need help for most in New York
Thanks for reading this, and I will appreciate any good responses. Cheers Team Liquid

usually a city's tourist attractions can all be visited in a couple of days. the most interesting part imo usually is indulging in the life of the average citizen and experience what its likw to be (in this case) a new yorker... then again, you alrwady have lived there...

Yeah I know. I am just asking if anyone has experience of some nice places for whatever :D ... I also have no idea about some sort of night life because when I was here before I was like 11-12... so any good bars or places or whatever anyone thinks I should do Thank you for the reply !

go to the TKTS Booth and you should be able to get cheap tickets to any show that day Lots of people line up for it so you have to be there early. I've never done it personally but many friends of mine have and gotten lots of good seats for good prices.
As for other things to do..try different foods, walk around, do the museums etc. If you have never seen the NY philharmonic or been to the MET its amazing. If you like Jazz - Bluenote look that up. There are a ton of good comedy clubs as well, I think its called Dangerfields is a famous one.. Try to get into a taping of one of the morning or daytime TV shows. Theres endless things to do, and not all of it is expensive! Good luck and enjoy

If your into Art you should go to the MoMA museum.

I've never been to NY, and Irre said what I was going to suggest - go see some nice live music. One place I'd love to go check out is The Stone: http://www.thestonenyc.com/ But then I'm a big fan of John Zorn's.
Another thing I'd check is some Microbreweries, but I can't recommend any specific one.

Go and eat ALL THE FOOD! Go to S'mack (which only sells a million kinds of macaroni and cheeze), and of course Shake Shack. There are tons more but those two are in the reasonable range and were my favorites. :D
