Both players were just on another level this tournament. Grats to both.

Feel like there needs to be some more fanfare to end these things and maybe have the interviews shorter like they do in sports to keep the tension and excitement high. And then maybe a press conference for all this sorta thing, but this tournament was well done.

Well, not being always far behind in upgrades would be a start.

Makes me question whether Polt really deserves that Code S seed, though. Well, we'll see.
Sorry, but what a stupid comment. Both are great players. It was a great series. Stephano played better this series, but they're both S class players, in my mind. It's a valid comment. Polt was code B and got a code s seed. He certainly didn't display code s level play today. He played quite disappointing today. Can't count how many free tanks polt gave away each game or how many times he blew away leads. It's not a valid comment so say a player isn't Code S quality from a single series. Especially against someone like Stephano. you also have to take into consideration that polt is seriously jetlagged by 20 hours while stephano spent a full week in texas. It's not even jetlag. Stephano played great. All seven games between them were insanely close. It's silly to take one series and go, 'Wow, he doesn't deserve the seed because he lost to a great player.' By those standards, we should kick MVP out of the GSL for losing to Demuslim or Nestea losing to Ret.
how can you simply discount jetlag that easily? polt clearly underperformed from his potential considering the beatdown he has put on stephano in recent events.

the possibility that stephano has studied polt's play and improved his own is apparently actually an unpossibility

Can't count how many free tanks polt gave away each game or how many times he blew away leads. So does MVP not deserve Code S because he played awful yesterday against Seal? Code S players lose all the time. Stephano scouted Polt and played perfectly against him. I mean, who else would you give the Code S seed to? I'd rather not give out code S seeds at all and would just have players earn it. Players like bomber and losira were code s regulars and both got knocked to code b, with only bomber making it back in this season to code a. It's damn hard to get back to code s once knocked to code b. Polt just got a shortcut with the seed. I'm a polt fan, but he did not play well today at all.
I don't think Polt played his best, but he didn't play terribly. If he played his best, he would have won and not given away those leads, but hats off to Stephano for changing up his playstyle that Polt had figured out. If, let's say, these two face again at MLG or IPL4 and Polt plays EXACTLY like he did in this tournament, then yes, I would agree that isn't satisfactory, but it's day of games.
Stephano adapted and changed his style to beat Polt. Now Polt just has to go to work and figure out how to beat Stephano.
