Edit so I don't get warned. The game is pretty balanced, maybe P has a few strong allins early game and a really good production mechanic late game but that isn't necessarily OP. Soon the other races will switch up the metagame and P wont be as strong.

Since that's not the case, Protoss is fine .

The first Zealot would win every game and would kill 20 marines ezpz. etc. etc. Since that's not the case, Protoss is fine . and the cost of said units would also be multiplied by 10.

T's AoE is really only effective against zerg and terran units because of the high health and upgrade capacity of their gateway units (blink stalkers lol onto siege tanks, chargelots do too). Ghosts do well in the TvP matchup but they don't do any kind of permanent damage and require amazing control to keep the protoss from laying down lethal storms. Terran vZ is already shown to be a matter of multi-task. Terran vP is proving to be a matter of control, although it would be amazing if somehow it became slightly more forgiving to lower league players (say, non korean pro players?) so that insta remaxes on gateway units aren't lethal.

Vs zerg, they really have to trick/surprise the zerg if they want to gain an early advantage. If you know what's coming it's reasonably easy to deflect even the most all-in of all-ins. However, If they surprise you with 2 hidden stargates or something it feels ridiculously hard to hold (because it is). Vs Terran they're forced into this turtle deathball get all tech then roflstomp with aoe playstyle and that feels op from the T perspective. Personally i think Protoss may be "balanced" in terms of win rate, but is broken in terms of gameplay/playstyle. In ZvT if the T goes mech instead of bio/biomech you can do ok with ling/bane/muta for a bit. Likewise if the Z goes ling/roach/infestor the T is ok with tank/marine/medivac. However vs protoss if toss is going for one tech and you build the response to another you get basically owned. Maybe this is how blizz wants P to feel, but imo its kinda shite

PvZ is balanced because both races say it's their hardest matchup O.o
