Does anybody else here get bored of the taste of water? Just that same boring somewhat metallic taste of water? I fucking do.I mean sure its refreshing and it's not like i hate the taste of it but does anybody else prefer other alternatives to staying hydrated besides water?
I mean juice, coffee, milk, flavoured water, are all alternatives to just drinking plain water but when consumed in high quantities are not good for you because the amount of sugar, caffeine, vit d etc.
I've tried putting lemon in water, other fruit juices, and barley water (korean background) and I guess they are better than just drinking water but does anybody else in TL have this issue and have their own special 'water recipes'?
Thanks

Water tastes metallic?
Well, an easy trick is just to fill a big jar of water and puttinng it on you desk. Sooneder or later you will automatically fill your cup with it.
Im not sure your water is filtered enough if it tastes metallic :O
plain water all the way for me Can't get enough of dat fresh cold swedish water
You don't like sparkly water? It could be an alternative
tried sparkly water yet? i dig that stuff.
Buy clean spring water in a store. Note the difference. It sure won't taste metallic.
i always put a squirt of lime or lemon in my water just like you, makes it so much easier to drink. I realized I was drinking way too much juice a while back and not enough water, it was getting pretty expensive. making tea is also good.
i forgot: warming up the water and putting honey in
try boiling water, It taste better after being boiled for me. Edit: and cleaner too
Just make it as cool as possible. Either have two bottles and always have one in the fridge, or simply use ice cubes!
maybe metallic was the wrong word. but i guess thats the feeling that i get when i drink water. i don't think it has to do with the cleanness...i get spring water and the water at my college is filtered pretty well. maybe im just a boring person haha ...i guess ill just continue sticking some lemon juice in it
u have to drink water out of a glass. If you drink it out of a plastic bottle or a plastic cup or whatever it tastes horrible. But cooled sparkling water out of a glass is great
Add sugar, spice, and everything nice, which should make water taste great. Maybe it tastes so because of the place you live in? I've heard that some places need more certain metals in the water than the others.
Iced Tea? I doubt there are any negative side effects of tea and you can drink it in a bottle like water
Green Tea with just enough honey so that it's not bitter. Can't go wrong c:

Iced tea has tons of sugar, typically. I recommend loose leaf tea or just a squirt of lemon.

If you diet permits it, fruit syrup are great. Use a real glass, plastic cups make everything taste bad. How come your water has a metallic taste ?
$20 will get you a brita water filter and enough extra filters to last half a year. Not necessarily any healthier unless you live in some third world country without potable tap water (like Korea), but the taste is definitely better.

Hm? Loose leaf tea is where you brew the actual tea leaves then strain them to get delicious tea.
