water already is tasty, im probably bias though but ill drink water over anything else.
If it tastes metallic it sounds like its been drunk from a metal cup or something

Dye the water for extreme thrills. Just imagine the possibilities! Pink water, orange water or even green water. Now I got really thirsty :O

This. It's amazing how much better tap water tastes once it's cold.

Water shouldnt have taste

Aquafina.
Fucking love the crisp pure taste of it. I've tried a few different types of bottle waters over the past few years and keep going back to it. Just seems the best.

Go for a run for 1hour. Then even hot chlorinated water tastes like sweet candy.

It's not only the temperature. If you keep tap water in your fridge or anywhere for a while, the chlorine evaporates and makes it taste much better.

It's funny how German people love their sparkling water. Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go, but it really surprised me when I stayed there how it's pretty much the drink of choice over still water. Personally I can't stand it, give me still any day!
And I agree with endy, the colder the better.

Some people put slices of cucumber in their water and make it sit for a little while. Apparently improve the taste. I tried it when I went to a boarding type of school but it was ~10years ago so dont really remember if it helped.

So I went to Europe for about a month, all they sold/provided was sparkling water.
WHY?
My Asian buds couldn't take it.

Water isn't there for the taste, its just really refreshing to have good water. It helps me stay alert mentally and awake keeping hydrated and I like the way it makes me feel.
EDIT* What is sparkling water?? >_>

I don't know why but it's fucking horrible. Fortunately tap water is top notch in Sweden so I rarely buy bottled water but when I have to it's all sparkling. Fuck dat.
Sparkling = carbonated.

I mean juice, coffee, milk, flavoured water
It's funny because these dont actually make you hydrated.
Anyway, plain water is the only thing I drink really, I cant drink anything else when I am actually thirsty and I dont particularly like any specific extra tastes. If I can I'd drink bubble water straight up everyday, that shit is just too good. People who dont live in Europe always complain about it tasting wierd and it did for me at first too but you just gotta keep at it, after that its like a god damn drug.

Of course they hydrate you, they are 98%+ water. I almost never drink plain water, so if stuff like that didn't hydrate you I would have died a long time ago.

I seriously have a rather deep appreciation for water that few other people seem to have. Not just any water though... CLEAN (deionized, reverse osmosis, spring, mineral, filtered, etc.) and COOL water.
I guess I don't really know why. Maybe because I live in Florida (btw we have like some of the best water in the world where I live o.o).. Try coming down here in the middle of the summer on a hot day with the sun beating right on you with super high humidity but no clouds blocking the sun... do some semi-hard labor for like 30 minutes and I guarantee you if you haven't been dealing with it your whole life you will get super dehydrated and nothing but water is your savior (happens to pretty much everyone at least once).
Yep, hot day + hot sun + physical work = IMMENSE thirst for cool water.

So sparkling water is just the awkward counter part of pop taking out all the sugar and ingredients that make it taste good. Im pretty sure when I worked at fastfood, you would give other workers carbonated water as a joke telling them it was sprite and watch them almost throw up after one drink. Gross shit.
