This is the results of me being very bored (at work) so I decided to have some fun with the google translator. This blog is not meant to be informative, it is not meant to be meaningful, it is simply a passing of time.
Feel free to do this on your own and post your results, seems kind of interesting.

3)Use the translation to translate it to another language
4) Repeat process
5)Translate back to english

Looks like it was altered significantly when you translated to Latin. I wonder how things would have turned out if you skipped that step.

Yea I noticed that too, good point. Maybe next time I wont use latin.
@finesthour (below): I only used languages with english alphabet.

Is google translator actually accurate with some languages and sentence structure? I know you cant get any grammar right with chinese or japanese.

I vaguely remember a pretty cool short movie where they translated stuff like this all over the place. iirc it even won some prizes. Can't find it for shit though. :/

I remember back in high school this guy in my international econ class didn't feel like writing his paper so he just borrowed mine and translated it from english-japanese-spanish-russian-engligh or something like that. The end result was a really Borat-sounding essay on global stock markets and I believe he got 50 or 60% on the final grade. Of course it was an easy elective class and the teacher didn't want to fail anyone, so I imagine that after trying to read the first few lines of nonsense he just gave up and wrote down a grade.
