definitely use bacon. Makes it much better. I've never used bitters. still awesome without but i am sure it cant hurt at all liquid smoke owns and you should use it regardless of how much pork you use french bread, imo, is much better than corn bread with this. Italian subsitutes just fine too oh and while you can used can beans, def used bag and soak. It's just overnight soak and rinse and you're good to go | ||
