You got straight back into code S. How do you feel?
I was worried initially because the computer was not in a good condition while I was setting it up. I had to use a different computer during the matches so the settings were different to usual. It's a relief that I was able to come through.
Your opponent was Squirtle who got 4 kills in GSTL
I heard about this while in Finland. This news worried me since I wasn't getting any practice with the Koreans while he was getting four kills. But this makes me even happier now. Beating a protoss makes me happier.
How was Assembly Winter?
The atmosphere was fantastic and the tournament in general. However, I did get eliminated so early. Polt 'hyung' played really well and I couldn't manage my own condition.
What did you do after such a quick elimination?
I was reading community sites like playXP with the other players. That's when I saw Squirtle's 4 kill in the GSTL. I also read the interview on Thisisgame.
Your use of scans in Set 2 was great
I saw a twilight council but couldn't spot a robotics facility. However, the chrono boost made me suspicious. When the opponent goes for blink stalkers with observer, it's best to lift the natural.
You don't have to go the up and downs
I'm glad I don't have to travel all the way to Seoul (smile). Up and downs is a gruelling experience too. I'm glad that I get to focus solely on Code S.
Slayers is not doing so well in GSTL. You don't plan on helping outt?
I'll cheer for them of course (laugh). I'll also help with practice.
What's your goal in next season's Code S?
I think I'll be able to set my goals once the opponents are decided. However, I want to advance to the round of 8 and improve my reputation.
Anything to add?
I am grateful to Zenextrme and ClashMoOk who helped me practise. I want to thank the coaches who came with me to the matches today: Boxer, Cella and Ryu won. Thanks also to Nos(?) clan who cheered for me. Nos clan fighting!

You got straight back into Code S. How do you feel?
A bit out of it. Falling down to Code A made me feel a bit lonley. Advancing once again makes me happy.
Why did you fall to Code A
There was a bit of bad luck but it was mostly my mental condition. At that stage, I wasn't in a good place regarding my mental state but now I am in the best shape possible. I expect a lot out of myself in the future.
Your matches went very well today
I thought it would be extremely difficult. However, all the games went to plan. My hands just moved naturally. I think my opponent made a lot of mistakes.
The rematch in Set 2. Did it affect you
It did a lot. That was a game I was sure I had won. Then during the break, the two coaches and Boxer came in and started talking only about builds (laugh). This kept me busy so I didn't have a lot of time to dwell on having to do a rematch.
You're getting ready for the university entrance exam. Are you working hard on your studies?
GSTL is held in Las Vegas (laugh). Once I got to Code S, I would study hard but Las Vegas changes everything. I want my team to go to USA. I will practise hard. Lately, the team has been somewhat down so I want to turn that around in the GSTL.
What's your goal for next season? Your best so far is round of 8
At this point I think I can win the whole thing. All my games are working out so well (laugh)
You formed a bit of rivalry with MMA, what happened to that?
I didn't get a lot of good reactions when I mentioned MMA. It's not a name I can throw around casually now. The public didn't take kindly to it (laugh). It's my loss to do so. I won't be doing it anymore. However, as soon as I get to a similar position to MMA in my career, I'll get back to my old ways.
Anything to add?
I want to thank people who helped me with my practice: MMA (five games), Clide (three games), Heart who helped me more than my team-mates. As I get back into Code S, I'll make sure to live up to the expectations of a Code S player. I'll try my hardest.
