MMA has beating MC recently but MC is playing better and might face him in the ro4. He might face a resurging Genius. He might get Parting in the finals who beats top tier tvp players. Even puzzle has a shot at beating him again. We are far from just handing MMA this title

Yeah..I actually think DRG has a better chance against all these protoss than MMA.

honestly just gimme a non-pvp without gumiho
You mean Gumiho the guy who played such a great TvT against one of the strongest TvT players in Starcraft 2?
Yeah dude, Gumiho got a future. Buuuuut I agree, I don't think he'll fit the finals stage yet. I'd prefer he just continues to make good tournament runs for a bit and improve his overall quality, else it'll just look like another one of those "1-time finals runs".
And I think I agree with the finals you want, I really don't want to see a PvP grand final =/

All four protoss left have sick good pvt with different styles and DRG has sick good zvt. Part of the reason DRG lost to MMA was due to maps used in Blizz Cup. Also, Alive did show his improvement in TVT. MMA is solid and still a favor to win this season. But he is not unbeatable.
Also, am I the only one thinks Alive actually has a good chance to defeat MMA?

Lol if Alive manages to win I'm sure a shit storm will come.

MVP and Slayers must be really happy that in 2 groups both their players get out.

I know it sounds harsh but he never seems to win ANYTHING of merit and yet people still worship the ground he walks on. Strange. Not just you. I'd be pretty happy if he disappeared into Code B never to return. Um... This is the RO16 he was in... of code S. That means that he had to qualify for code S through the up downs, and then get past the RO32. He then was one fucking game away from winning last night, as he beat Genius three games in a row, and then lost two. At the very least, he deserves to be here fighting with the best, and if you want him to disappear into Code B too bad. MKP is here to stay, he's got the heart of a champion. And the fact that he managed to get out of his slump shows it. A lot of players slump, then get mediocre forever. MC, MVP (his slump wasn't very long), Nestea, MKP, Genius (and certainly more), all had hard times and came back at the top. Look at Losira for instance. Now he struggle to beat unknowns in weeklies. Well, perhaps he'll get good again, I don't know. I think you (and most people) are making a mistake when they call it a slump. A slump would be where they actually get worse as a player, That isn't the case. It's actually the player not getting better as fast as the players he is playing against, which doesnt really feel like a slump to me.. I think you are wrong. Nestea make massive mistakes last night he'd never make 6 months ago. Same goes for MC and MVP when they fell. All of them have played nearly perfect games however when they slump it's so obvious to see the mistakes and contrast in thier play.

Nice variety of styles in the Ro16, regardless of the races the people played there are differences in how they play them. I like that kind of mix, for example MC plays an extremely different PvX to Genius, Gumiho has this weird 'attack everywhere' style that is like an unrefined version of MMA's, Parting looks amazing.
Gah, awesome GSL thus far!
Most terrifying play I saw today was DRG on Antiga against MKP, wow that was solid. He seems to have a problem with Protoss 2 base timings (at least recently) so that might be his kryptonite later on, but his play looked the best that I've seen.
'"Sometimes gurls dieting can get ya daaaan!" My god, this is literally the ONLY advert I get when looking at VoDs, I want to track down the maker of that ad and do aggressive, aggressive things to them.

If MC beats genius he's got this. But PvP is random as hell. One week MC will smoke hongun next hongun will 3-1 him. Another week MC will shutout HuK next HuK will 3-1 him as well. And on and on and on. Just look two nights ago, Games could have gone to parting instead of MC with one FF in the right place and not missed another. Artosis even thought Parting deserved at least one game.

I just have a gut feeling that a protoss will win this season because all of the protoss in ro8 have been impressive. Still though I think MMA is the favorite. But this will be one hell of a GSL.

Eight excellent top Korean players with different play styple, I think this is the best ro8 in gsl. The only sad thing is we only have one zerg.

that's actually true, I was really rooting for Nestea to be RO8 instead of Genius.

I've now gotten around to watching the VODs for these series. Why are these games so good?!?
In fact, they're so good, you have to watch both the English and Korean casts! Especially Nestea vs DRG game 3!

But you can not understand Korean. I really wish I can tho, I believe their analysis is simply better. God, I can not wait for the ro8 games.

I think the games decided if Nestea can make to ro8 were the games he played against DRG. And base on what I saw, I believe Nestea has better understanding of the matchup and overall he played the game with more intelligence. However, DRG seems to have a faster hand and extremely good at multitaking. I think even though DRG won that best of 3, he was not certain if he was better than Nestea in zvz or not after that.

True hehe, the quality of this GSL is just amazing. All the games were so well prepared and their skill level are just over the top.

ROFL are you joking bro? Gumiho did win, but it wasn't a good game. Gumiho had to cheese to win. He might even beat aLive and cheese his way to the finals after the MC Genius match. Once Gumiho learns how to play straight up against players who severely outclass him, which are all the other 7 players, then maybe I might swallow everything I just said.
Not calling Gumiho bad btw, just saying he beat Mvp by cheering and only cheesing.
