Explain how he beat Mvp. He had to rely on clock banshees to win. That's pretty cheesy. If that is cheesy, then Mvp is just as cheesy as him. Mvp doesn't cheese, he does early tactical plays in order to gain an advantage for mid and late game. Cloaked banshee opening is a viable and common build, call it a cheese or allin or whatever but it is a good build if you have the micro.

I really don't understand how people can like this GSL format. The Bo3 is good, but it seems absurd you get knocked down to Code A even after making Ro16.

It's only in name, it's not like being knocked down all the way to ro48 Code A, they need to win only one bo3 to be back in Code S next season, and even if they lose that, they have a second chance in the up and downs. I think being knocked out in the ro32 group stages of Code S is the worst, because you can drop down to Code B with one more bo3.

This here. If you think MKP should go away because he doesn't have enough results uou have no idea what you are talking about.

Yes but this is still absurd. If they lose they have to start over from Ro48 the following season, and guess what? Winning isn't so simple considering certain Code S players who were knocked down prior are in the bracket.
For example:
Boxer vs Seed & Leenock vs July Winner vs Winner = Code S
Or
Curious vs TheSTC/oGsFin
Or
Happy vs Maru/Maaru & Nada vs Polt/Creator
So in essence, if they had a super difficult group for their Code S and lose they have to play against other fallen Code S players, while certain Code S groups are always weaker than others (to much luck factor involved).
I'd prefer the last place finisher to get knocked down to Code A and the 3rd place finisher to go to Up-and-down.
But having Ro16 also do the same seems a bit to much, like a lame attempt to replace players as much as possible.

Anyone who makes it to Ro32 or Ro24 in Code A is automatically guarnateed to at least go to up and downs. Going to Ro24 (by dropping out of Code S Ro16) is actually better than going straight to up and downs, because you have one shot of getting straight back to code S, and even if you lose you then go to up and downs.

Damn it, MC vs Genius, WHYYYYYY???? I love both of them
Genius played so well in both last games. Could we have a Protoss championship after almost a year? Hell yes we could, no doubt about it.

Code A R24 (which is where you go if you lose code S R16) is better than Up and Down. If you win A R24, you go to code S. If you lose, you go to Up&Down.

MMA vs Parting or Puzzle in the final most likely tbh. I has money on MMA b/c if MC beat Genius. I don't think MC can beat MMA tho.
