For those of you who don't know me, which should be all of you, my name is Joseph, I play Protoss, and my handle is Nightshade.
The point of this blog is to help encourage me to make progress in Starcraft, as I am striving to eventually make it to the pro-scene, one forcefield at a time.
I've been playing Starcraft off and on for about 4 years, starting with the Broodwar campaign, and I started played Starcraft 2 seriously this last July. I started off as a silver Protoss using my patented Nightshade build, which is also known as the 1 base 5/2/2 triple forge 14 worker rush.
I am now a Mid-Masters player, recently switched to Zerg for a week, and then switched back to Protoss as I saw how much better my race is at the PvZ match up. (And yes, Forcefields should NOT be able to be used on the ramp, voidrays ARE OP, and DTs mean you've won the game as Zerg half the time.) I may switch to Terran for a week as well to help my PvT as well, not sure yet as I am going to a LAN on the 18th.
So, again, this blog is just to help me track progress while sharing it with others as well. I've recently felt alone and with no one to vent to about this or that and this could also help me feel a little less alone in this struggle, as this journey I am making will probably be the hardest bot emotionally and mentally.
I hope those who read will enjoy this blog!
