Underdog teams tend to do well in the team league though. Slayers only had Alicia in code S when they won their first GSTL, then the next season MVP came in second after everyone saying they were going to fall in the first round and upset they took a spot from IM. Lets not forget that oGs has always underperformed significantly in the team league. My liquibet is on oGs though. | ||

Nada is better than supernova when it comes down to pressure situations as he's shown in the past. supernova is good but he's not very good at handling aggression in TvZ, and he'll have to beat Kyrix.... theStC isn't all that good and he suffers from nerve issues so he isn't very trustworthy in offline events, ForGG is waaaay overhyped, him being smacked down to Code A so quickly shows it, only MC lost to ForGG, and MC/forGG practiced together and forGG got a build order win. Zenio is still a player that oGsTL can play and if they need a Zerg there's no reason that they wouldn't. Maybe you don't realize this, but Zenio's best match-up is ZvZ (and it's really fucking good ZvZ at that), and ZeNex's best shot happens to be resting in the hands of two Zergs--Line and Life. Zenio definitely has a shot at playing especially since everybody knows he's a total badass. Plus, ZeNex's Terran line-up (barring the all-musclar Cutter) is pretty weak and Zenio's ZvT is his Achilles's heel. TheStC got third place at MLG (only losing to HuK and MC), that's a better result than anyone on ZeNex has gotten. And I don't think that nerves affect players in team leagues nearly as much as you're making it sound. I wouldn't put TheStC as the ace, but that's mainly because he's not the best Terran on the team. SuperNoVa is gosu as shit, he'll be able to beat anybody on ZeNex. If he goes up against Kyrix (I'm not even sure that Kyrix is going to get played, I don't think he's played in recent other Team Leagues), he'll probably expect some form of an all-in and even if he compensates for it and puts himself slightly behind, he's a far better TvZer than any of the Zergs on ZeNex are ZvTers. He's got this. Also, while fOrGG was overhyped, he's still really, really good. People were saying that he was going to take the GSL by force or that he was going to dominate players, and instead he lost in the first round in what I would say is the scariest group GSL Ro32 has ever witnessed. He was overhyped, but even if he is half as good as he was hyped up to be, he's a ridiculously good player. Maybe you forgot the reason why he was hyped in the first place: he beat Sage, Polt, and July all in dominating fashion. July is like Kyrix on steroids and actually able to play a macro game, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say that fOrGG has a pretty good shot should he play. NaDa is good, but he isn't quite at the dominating stage that SuperNoVa is at. NaDa is consistent and a fantastic player, but his play in StarCraft 2 has been a lot less than inspiring. He's good, but SuperNoVa has a better understanding of the game and has better mechanics. On January 28 2012 07:59 ChuCky.Ca wrote: dont forget the biggest secret weapon of all the banjo!!!
