Meh he's a pvt beast. Hes quite new to events still, so we should give him some time. Not like his group was ezpz either hah :b
Hes still on the rise, and he's improving at an alarming rate. Think we'll see a lot of him in the future if he manages to keep it up.

Woo! Glad to see WhiteRa got through. I was hoping Strelok would also make it through, but it was very unlikely with Naniwa in the group. Kas making it through was not much of a surprise.
Edit:

Pretty disappointed from what I saw today: non responsive admins, bad computers and lousy internet. Besides Bitterdam, IEM has been a complete disaster. Can't believe people flew all over the world for this. Most unfortunate were NightEnd and Grubby for getting the short end of the stick, feel so sorry for them.
Tournament standards must be set for minimum PC specs and minimum internet bandwidth. Blizzard should also think about enabling save/reload and/or enabling tournament lan version. The problem is becoming more and more recurring, its pretty dumb to ignore it as it hurts the scene.

Yeah, for a player who's only been in SC2 for about half a year he shows great potential. Hope him getting 0-3 doesn't crush his spirits, he had one of the hardest groups for sure.

Yes he blinked under the broods, yes he was targetting some of them, but who's to say he wouldn't have botched his control and misclicked? Or Zenio loses his army but claws his way back in? It's a pity for Nightend, but it would be unfair on Zenio as well
On another point, why do Koreans play so much worse at IEMs than almost every other tournament out there? Zenio is playing half as good as he was in Code S (which still wasn't his best), JYP did pretty badly at the Changzhou [sic] tournament etc Zenio's playing pretty close to how he plays in GSL. He played a few bad sets there, but also some pretty good ones. I am not some high-level analyst but his play here thus far has been far, far below what we've seen from him before.
I'm not sure if we've been watching the same games. His Up-and-Down matches were not impressive at all and his Ro32 matches were mediocre at best. He hasn't won a macro ZvP in Korea in about a year and some of those losses were downright embarrassing. I still remember that heap of fail game he played against HongUn.

LOLS, what?
I think he's implying your bias clouds belieavability of what you said and reading that, it's definitely hard to trust the way you word it.
You have no obligation to not be bias, but showing such blatant bias means we just don't trust your version of events.

Yes, but if he said "I am so [expletive] mad at these computers and I won't be playing unless they get fixed"; then it is a conditional statement and not an outright "I forfeit".
What constitutes a forfeit really? A verbal one (unless it is a part of a dialogue where the organizer prompts the player if he really wants to forfeit) seems rather thin when I think about it. A no show is a forfeit, otherwise I think it should be written down...

LOOOOLS. Dude, why do you think we're telling you what to do?
I'm not telling you what to do. I'm just saying my opinion and you know what, I'll play your game; am I not allowed to think you're wrong and say I think you're wrong?
Of course, you're free to say all this stuff. xD It just makes me not think much of you, for all an opinion random stranger in this world might mean to you. LOOOOOOOOOLs. I just find this hilarious tbh. xD

Ok, this was exactly what I was looking for, thanks for answering my question.
Hopefully some drama will be removed from the scene because of that clarification.

I'm really happy to see NaNiwa and White-Ra advancing, especially of NaNi after what has happened to him with that PC... His PvP is so good, I don't think that someone can take him in a bo5 in this tournament honestly... O.o Feeling sad for Grubby, wanted to see him in the next round so much =( Also, I'm pretty much impressed of KaS, this is something what he has to do/people expected him to for a long time! To own.

Im very curious about qxc games tomorrow. What form he is in right now?
|
broke my heart to see zenio go through after playing so incredibly poorly. Lag ruined nightends tournament tt
|
these games have been disastrous
|
The half of the tournament I was able to catch was an embarrassment. Playing on crap computers with crap bandwith is not acceptable.

i have to agree, lets hope day 2 will be better :/
