Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

Well a song being a hit kinda implies it doesn't suck. ^_^
You have the weirdest notion of pop music and the music business in general^^
The most horrible songs of all time frequently are top sellers over here, people have no taste and it takes a ridiculously low amount of sales to be a 'hit' these days!
also cheers to the guys putting Ma Boy up there
I agree that bad pop songs become hits all the time. But I was just saying that a song that totally sucks (there's obviously a difference in my definition of a bad song and one that just plain sucks) probably won't become a hit. For example, I think bubble pop is a bad song, but I still like it.

Sorry, think you read my post before the edit. I was actually meant Part 1, not Part 2.

Oh yeah, if it's popular it probably has some redeeming features you should acknowledge even if you hate it, that's true. Then again some songs suck so bad that they are hits because of that, but i guess that's different hehe.

basically the song is just catchy, but people view it as bad based on their tastes like be my baby, bubble pop, very catchy but widely considered bad songs. i liked both of them, though.

I don't think either Bubble Pop or Be My Baby are bad songs. Be My Baby wasn't what I was expecting out of WG but its at least listenable, and Bubble Pop is too catchy (without breaking into the annoying zone) to be a bad song.
There are hits out there that I would definitely consider bad songs though.
It's so weird looking at older pictures of Hyuna, if not all girl stars, and comparing them to there current look. Hyuna is so young in that picture. x_x

You just need plain boring old MV's like this to determine if you like the song on its own
Following our Ma Boy discussion I went back and looked at the MV and dance practice vids again. Better than I remembered...they need to do that shit again.
