ESFI World has confirmed that Kevin "qxc" Riley, the North American Terran StarCraft 2 player, has been transferred from FXOpen E-Sports to Complexity Gaming. FXO's general manager Joshua "BoSs" Dentrinos verified the news.
"Our Korean team's success is based on a model I believe in," Dentrinos said. "It is very difficult for foreigners to comply with that model because of cultural, personal and mental differences. At the same time he was attending school, etc., and the investment was a bit daunting. Complexity wished to have him, and the transfer was best for QXC so we had no choice but to do what is best for him."
Riley was announced as one of five new players added to FXO's international StarCraft 2 squad back in March of this year. During his time with the Australian-based organization, qxc trained and competed in South Korea in the GSL Team League (highlighted by his infamous all-kill against Incredible Miracle), as well as making a run at the GSL Code A qualifiers in the July edition. Prior to his joining FXO, Riley was teamed with ROOT Gaming. Now going to Complexity, he will be rejoining past teammates CatZ and Drewbie.

Seeing as qxc will be joining many of his former ROOT teammates, I think this will be a very good fit for him and I hope he does very well at any tournament he is able to attend.

I am excited to bring Kevin to our team. QXC is a name that everyone knows and with his reinvigorated dedication to the game, I am confident that he will continue to be a top talent in the game.

Unfortunately we came to a situation where QXC required a different type of condition to other players. And without wanting to hold him back he has managed to find something to suit his requirements and we are thankful that he was able to. FXO supports Kevin in all his endevours and will continue to cheer for him as a player and friend. We thank him for everything he has brought to FXOpen e-Sports.

I am extremely grateful for the support and opportunities FXOpen has provided me. I will never forget how lucky I was to go to Korea and compete in the GSTL. I had a lot of fun with my teammates and boss. Unfortunately, due to a difference in vision and focus, the time has come for us to part ways. I'm extremely excited and proud to be a part compLexity where I will be rejoining some of my old teammates from ROOT Gaming as well as other players that I have become good friends with over the past few months.
-The man himself, QXC
