There's just SO many individual tournaments going on lately between GSL, WCG, Blizzcon, MLG, etc. that I'm really starting to miss the team leagues. I think a lot of people would agree with me when the GSTL always brings the best storylines, matches, and excitement, but recently it's just been so many major individual leagues to the point where I'm not all too excited to witness an MVP vs. Nestea rematch for like the 4th time. Even MVP and MMA have played against each other a fair number of times, and there isn't really a match I look forward to because they've all practically happened within the last 2 or so months.
Team leagues on the other hand, brings a lot more excitement because you never know who will be thrown out there, and who will come out on top in the clutch when their team needs them most. Upsets happen more frequently, and it's great watching the teams get excited about it.
Also, with the recent roster changes there's already so much to look forward to in terms of how these new teams will perform. Most notably, Slayers acquired Puzzle and Coca, and now they have a much more well-rounded team to fill their roster. There's also FXO beefing up with 2 great players in Oz and Leenock, and now they've gone from one of the weakest teams after their loss of sC to one of the ones to look out for. Speaking of sC, he has been doing great lately, and now MVP has 2 very strong players they can field. Sure, some other members of MVP have pulled their weight recently, but their roster is still weak compared to DRG. oGs now has ForGG, Supernova, Hero, and STC making names for themselves while the older players have all but been forgotten. They're practically a new team relative to who we thought would be fielded 2 seasons ago. IM and ST, once thought to be the strongest teams, now have slumping players, but GSTL can turn that all around sometimes.
NsHS and TSL still have to prove they can repeat their performances from last season, as I still believe their roster to be quite weak in terms of star players. They're all getting better, but they still gotta prove it wasn't a fluke. Jjakji is starting to play at an incredibly high level, and TSL did in fact acquire Polt. There's also Prime who have taken Byun, and Bboongbboong always surprises me every GSTL match.
Bring back GSTL GOM. I think we can hold off GSL for a month or so considering how all the top players are traveling around much more often to major tournaments.

They'll probably do 2 in a year, that run for about 3 months each or so, so we'll probably have an announcement in dec or jan. It's quite awesome like that though, builds the hype.

I think we gotta wait for 2012 for more GSTL :[

Yes please. And make it last 10 months like proleague this time.

Yeah, I've been trying to channel my longing for GSTL in to hype for Proleague. I think it's working, at the least I'm doing something productive with it. Need another season to decide if I wanna be a Startale or MVP fan long-term.

GSTL returns in early 2012

I want GSTL as well. My fantasy team this year WILL NOT BE DENIED VICTORY!

Actually, tbh, although GSTL was a fun tournament to watch, I don't get as hyped-up as much for it as the individual leagues. If the prize pool were alot higher, it would've been more interesting since the teams will do their best for it.

GSTL needs a longer format (like SPL)
Not necessarily a whole-year thing, but hell, even a single or double round robin would be a great improvement over past GSTL formats.
