So yeah, this'll be a fairly boring blog I think, but I wanted to share some things that actually bug me, mostly about me. Please remember this is a blog post and isn't necessarily intended to provide any meaningful or useful information about anything (this post doesn't) and represents only my personal views.
First and literally something that I get angry about I have a phobia which so far as I'm aware is so pathetic that no one else on the planet seems to share it. There doesn't seem to be a name for it and I can't seem to get over it regardless of how utterly stupid I know it to be. So to describe what it is, it's basically perfect lines of slow moving water from taps. Yeah...
For those who may be (rightfully) confused I'm referring to when you turn a tap on and then turn it down and you end up with a perfect line of water that any lower would be drips but it's not quite and it's this perfect thing line that doesn't change shape or move at all except for to fall down. I can't stand it, I do everything in my power to avoid it happening because once it's started I get physically sick trying to reach to turn it off and I literally can't stand it touching me.
As a phobia, I literally can't imagine anything more stupid, and I'm not even afraid of water more generally in any way! I used to be an avid swimmer even, but these perfect lines of water just make me rediculously uneasy and the fact I can't seem to get over it is so annoying.
So, second stupid thing that annoys me is when I try to turn over in bed and I put pressure on my neck and I end up worried I'm going to break my neck while turning over. I know intellectually how stupid this is but when I'm lying in bed it ends up playing on my mind because I have nothing else to think about and yeah...stupid.
Finally for this post, and the first on my list to not cover me(!) is Internet trolling. Words can not describe how stupid I find the people that take enjoyment from this. "I told them one thing and they had to check if it was the truth!!! LOOOOOOOOOOL". Like people really want to be that guy? 10 years ago that was known as "that f*in stupid kid". And pranking is not trolling. Seriously.
So yeah...that's a bit of info about stuff that annoys me.

try shock therapy, make such a thing with the shower had and then just jump in and don't move for 10 minutes. x)
also, try to be more afraid that by twisting your neck you'll have a sore back the next day, cause thats something that actually can happen. Its inconvenient as shit, so nothing to hope for really, but still better than fear of breaking your neck i guess?
|
yeah having phobias is "funny" cause no matter how much you know they are stupid, you still have them. But i have to admit i never came across these particular ones ^^
as for trolling; there are people that troll and there are stupid people who claim they are trolling

What happens in the shower??

The water thing was really interesting to me. What caused it in the first place? Did you see some disgusting scene when you were little, where water was dripping on a corpse or something like that?
|
You probably don't do a lot of gardening either.
How fascinating.

Oh crap, just read the bottom half. Shouldn't generalize trolls, they come in all shapes and sizes. Some trolls can be really awesome and cool. It's kinda like an American, a lot of people like to jump on them, and call them fattys and retards and dyslectic homos. But that's only cos the "bad/stupid" ones drag down all the cool awesome ones.
|
Imagine your horror if a "troll" mate of you came in your room while you were half-way asleep, and as you were just about to shift sides, and he slowly pours a bucket of water in a straight line over your neck.

Showers I'm alright with when they're on properly because they spit out lines of drops tht also fall with gravity. What I'm referring to is specifically lines of water that are so unchanging you'd have to look closer to realise they were moving, where it can kinda look like a glass tube, but made of water. Lines of water I can live with, it's these unbroken not quite slow enough to be drip perfect lines that are disgusting.

I don't think there was anything traumatic that led to it (not like when I was a Toddler and apparently a giant spider walked over my foot on a tiled flaw causing my arachnophobic mum to scream - apparently it took months for me to step off carpets again and whilst I don't remember the carpet thing I still *hate* spiders) but the first time I remember it I had burny my finger when I was 7-8 or something and I was running it under a line of cold water and I noticed the line and it just hitting that one perfect point on my finger and being so grossed out I had to go to a different basin in the house.

Yeah I've tried dealing with it by forcing myself through it but I just can't seem to deal with it at all and given how generally easy it is to avoid it I've found that to be the better policy.
With regards my neck, yeah I know that but when they're nothing else to think about it's something that always ends up playing on my mind for some reason. I do need to just be more careful anyway as I have given myself a sore neck/back in the past so I guess my mind making me aware of it isn't so bad.
Edit:
Also yeah I may have over generalised on the trolling part, and every so often someone is actually kinda funny, but 98% of the time I think it's still fair to say the term is misused or the people 'trolling' are just being "that kid" as per my original post.

I also have a few things that bug me when I'm sleeping~
One thing is if if I have my armpits exposed... I keep thinking something will just tickle me and piss me off then I think about it and I just feel ticklish and asldk;jf;lkdasjfa I'm getting better at getting over it though.
Another thing is I get this weird feeling that something will press on my stomach and make me vomit or something; this probably has something to do when I had some sort of stomach ache when I was little so I kept pressing on my stomach pretty hard and I ended up throwing up lol. So what I do with this is sometimes I'll cover my stomach with my arms or with a pillow.
So I kind of know where you're coming from but about that line of water.. that's just weird as hell. The only thing that I can think that would be bothersome you is when you touch that line of water it feels really soft and has a weird feeling.

That could easily have made my list too actually, though I fortunately don't find myself in that position.

Yes! I literally can't think of anything I'd least rather feel, it's so horrible. I can't stand looking at it or being near it either but that feeling is literally the worst.

That's interesting, I know that when I was younger, I would intentionally try and create that line of water that you are describing.

Do you also feel weird that you see that line of water and you can't hear any sound coming from it? Usually when you turn the tap on you expect to hear some sort of sound and you're accustomed to it.
