Okay, so let me get this straight. People pounced on Milkis because of his poor choice of words: "BW is the only real eSport." Give me a break. People say silly stuff all the time. Just got to deal with it. If you say you couldn't careless what people think then it's best to stop writing off on it. That's how people live and learn man. You don't need to address it in a blog or issue an apology. It was tongue in cheek. BW will always be in your blood and if that feeling is every recreated again it's by fluke. Cheers man and good travels. P.S. Have confidence in yourself.

I mean, maybe you know Milkis incredibly well or something, but I'm going to take his apology at face value because I believe he deserves that. You sound like you know he doesn't mean it, and I'm curious as to how you could know that. who gives a crap if he means it or not just because you say "o sry my bad had a PMS moment" doesnt excuse you from your actions. this apology means nothing prove that you actually regret what you wrote and make up for it dont make up some BS apology hoping the community will go back to worshiping you. (which is undeserving in the first place)

(which is undeserving in the first place) Its comments like this that I find bothersome. Milkis owes you guys absolutely nothing. I think as a whole our community is quite possibly the most defensive group of people I've ever seen in my entire life. This is nothing more than another Elephant in the Room article and you guys need to take it with a grain of salt. As for your spiel about apologies. Yeah, I take those with a grain of salt too especially when it comes over the internet. You truly have no clue if they are genuine/sincere, etc. Bullshit or not, I think you guys have to JLIG. Milkis needs a rest, which is fine. This community isn't going anywhere. He can come back whenever he wants and perhaps he'll work on smoothing out those ticks he has as a person. You got to be comfortable in one's skin and he obviously isn't.

So be selfish. Why shouldn't you be - you've earned at least that much. I hope that you'll be able to get plenty or rest and time to reflect. When (and if) you decide to come back, I hope you know there are many of us who will still support you.

I agree with some of your points in the way that this really doesnt matter at all but then why does he feel the need to make his disappearance a grand story then his triumph return. As a community the players/commentators/translators/everyone doesnt owe us anything but when you address the community he should be prepared to take the negative feedback and stop being so power hungry.

Apparently Milkis wrote something that put BW as the only esport, neglecting FPS and such, then djWHEAT and Slasher responded as they care about FPS, and it became an online massacre, with everyone posting bad things against Milkis and his work. (which is obviously irrelevant ad hominem)Did I miss something? o_O;; Now I'm going to have to search for it. The way I see it - none of this is so important, and he shouldn't worry about it. But in Korea due to the strict Internet regulations, people take stuff over the Internet very seriously. Milkis will be missed now, hope he changes his mind.

Why are you attacking him from his personal point of view of what is GREATNESS to him and just because he doesn't agree that Sc2 or any " insert your name esport game " is the best in the world . Warrant him to be called and uneducated ,idiot ? .Why are you doing these ? just because you can ride the majority wave of opinion ? .

Warrant him to be called and uneducated ,idiot ? .Why are you doing these ? just because you can ride the majority wave of opinion ? . This isn't based on one single post. He has made several posts (blogs etc) before this one with the same idiocy and lack of forward thinking. I do not follow majority waves of opinion, I speak my mind regularly even if it is not liked by the majority. I've been a part of several competitive gaming communities and post my mind a lot when people do stupid things. The white knighting is ridiculous though, he made a TERRIBLE mistake and needs to live with that. He knew when he posted that he would get a tremendous amount of backlash. That is, if he wrote the entire article himself. This for me is on the same level of the Stephano contract situation. I still have not changed my mind on that situation even with all of this "information" that was supposed to help stephano's case.

Some people deal with criticism better than others. Nature of the beast. The parallels between Kelly and Milkis, Milkis is baffling, no? Ha. People can be such internet drama queens. I say let them get it out of their system and someday they'll look back on it and think about how foolish they used to be. =D
