I mean, you can speculate that he just decided 'if I lost this, I won't win, so I'll save my energy for the real tournament' or whatever, but according to the casters, he was just really tired and slept on his keyboard before the match, so probably just jetlagged.

Too bad about the mess up. IPL's stream yesterday was among the best produced SC2 coverage EVER. Almost better than Dreamhack, and that's saying a lot. Hope it will be resolved soon. But perhaps in the future consider satellite trucks, like MLG used in the past (like, WTF @ US internet?)
|
Hope everything turns out well tomorrow. The bit of the stream I did catch looked really good.
|
This makes me happy, it's unfortunate that this had to happen tho.
|
This is some really bad luck....you can call it a lack of foresight but seriously, a truck hitting a pole cutting off cables? Who would have predicted that...still, we're lucky IPL manage to salvage something out of it, hats off to them really

Oh well **** happens the important thig is that IPL managed to pull through.Congrats and thanks for the excellent coverage
|
I was highly entertained by The Beast Crew during the down time so consider giving them a bonus! Thanks for a great day IPL...must sleep now -_-

just release Vods and replays and I will forgive you.

IPL sickest event yo. Great job guys.
|
Hate when tournaments are delayed but really not IPLs fault so it's ok

Thanks for taking the time to let us, your fans, know EXACTLY what is going on in a timely fashion and with this much detail. It is greatly appreciated when organizations such as yours do this.
Keep up the amazing work guys!
Gl and Hf!

Man i feel for you. I'm sure there's been a lot of hatred in the past hours, and it makes you so angry when there's simply nothing you can do against it. No Lan support, Bli$$ard, eh?
|
I enjoyed today though with Lani ^^
If was really cool to see everything like that. If you could do like the same next time? It would be awesome as it felt like I had a free backstage pass to everything.
Was WICKED awesome for everyone to get something done out of it. Thank you for providing content today as best you could.
I do wish we could have had matches but honestly? I would love to see something like what you guys did to fill time while the issue was fixed, in the other tournaments as well!!
It was great. Thank you for the effort <3.

IPL listened to the community feedback regarding the "meaningless" pool play, managed to communicate and (as promptly as possible) fix the issues at the live event, all the while putting on one of the most fantastic streams I have ever seen.
Keep up the good work guys. I hope no more bad luck falls your way. We all still support you heavily no matter what technical issues arise.

Anyone else struck by the difference between this IPL event and Season 1 of NASL? The former is proving itself to be so much more professional than the latter.
Response to viewer feedback - check Updating audience on problems - check Keeping Players happy - check Production quality - check Not being a general all round douche about everything - mega big check!
I love you IPL. I hope Season 2 for NASL is better but to be honest, haven't been watching their streams with the lack of top Korean pros to keep it interesting.

Shit happens =/ It's ok though, not IPL's fault at all, and thanks very much for the thorough updates
And for playing Brood War

After a couple hours of trying different solutions and being on the phone with a lot of different people, we learned that a vehicle had hit a pole a few miles away and cut the Comcast fiber line.
Well, the driver of that vehicle finally succeeded where so many before him failed: He definitely managed to hurt ESPORTS (and probably himself).
