On topic i never liked any of forgg play so im really not exited to see him switch to sc2. Also anyone know if Savior is allowed to participate in the GSL seing as Kespa has no direct power vs GOMTV. That would be the controverse Well, I think he just means that ForGG, like him or not, is really good by any SC2 standard, better than most of the top pros today. And GOM already said that anyone involved in the fixing scandal would not be allowed to participate. Plus, Savior has already moved on from esports, he's just going to school and what not now. Not sure how his health is either with his knee problems or w-e.

User was warned for this post guess i put my words wrong, i apologise for that since my intention isn't to flame or start a flame with anyone. what i meant is, at today's level of play in brood war, neither boxer, nada, forgg or anyone else that moved is nothing more then an average bw player, some even worse then that, so i don't percieve forGG moving as a big thing, since it's obvious he can't accomplish anything in brood war anymore. I just see it as another guy starting sc2 to maybe accomplish something that he missed out on in brood war. on the other hand, if forGG keeps his work ethic he had in brood war, I am pretty confident that he can feature in some gsl finals, but i'd prefer if sc2 managed to make it's own superstars, guys who have no bw or wc3 history. well, that's it from me on this topic.

Some day, SC2 will have kids who've only played SC2, and be good at it... but that day is a long way away.

Mvp yeah he's not that good. Even in SC2 his games still have a lot room for improvement.

MVP was not mediocre at time of switch, he was 50%+ in all matchups AFAIK. And mediocrity then =/= mediocrity now. Nestea was only allowed to play 2v2 in BW (he even said that he never wanted to play a 2v2 again ^_^), so it isn't surprising he had undeveloped talent in 1v1. Sure, the competition in SC2 isn't as high as it was in BW, but MVP was not mediocre, and we will never know how good Nestea could have been.

MVP was actually sub .500 when he switched... and coaches don't randomly assign 2v2 teams. the players who can't make the cut playing 1v1 play 2v2. near the end of the 2v2 format (2007? 2008?) you saw outdated legends like yellow and reach playing 2v2...sure, it's impossible to say just how good Nestea might have been had he only played 1v1. but the coaches spend a dozen+ hours a day with these kids five, six days a week. I find it hard to doubt their assessments of who has what it takes.

To put that into perspective, that would put him 42nd in the current BW ELO rankings and gives him the 203rd highest ELO peak. He was very mediocre. 2v2 wasn't played after the 2008 PL season (which ended midway through 2008) so ZergBong did have time to develop his 1v1 skills.

Forgg has always been known to be a player who combines all type of commando units to attack at a timing where his opponent at his weakest .He definitely does not lack in the department of strategy and multi tasking as seen in these fpvod . I am a kt fan , when I heard forgg was retiring for unknown reason , it broke my heart because the team at the time was at the weakest flash was losing games, hoejja is in a slump and stats was only so so at the time . Violet was the only one left holding the line in the kt's team . But I will wish you all the best forgg, show them sc2 fans what broodwar players are made of.
