You can fool yourself with balance whine all you want. He played terrible. Particularly in game 2. Letting not one but TWO zergling runbys in?? Not one but TWO artosis pylons?? That is not the way MC plays. I know what you're trying to say but you're just wrong. Also, playing "just fine" in MC's standards should be more than enough to beat a mediocre zerg. IMO, something non SC related is affecting his play, he just looks uninspired, like he hasn't been training enough and is just improvising every game. Even in the game he won he didn't look well, even his stalker micro was average and not superb as usual. Well, I hope we can see MC make a comeback soon. He's got the skill he's just slumping really hard. When did I say anything about game two? Explain what he should have done in game three and how he was supposed to secure a third. Funny how you can replace MC's name with every single protoss that used to do good, unless they win with one base all-ins. | ||

DoA got it right, MC's mechanics isn't bad at all, above average i'd say. but his success wasn't due to his mechanics but 4/6 gates timing pushes and some abusive risky plays. Maybe he's in a slump , maybe toss is indeed UP, but other pros are catching up now, and you can no long assume MC's mechanics is superior than his opponents. As the game is getting more figured out, things that MC used to do so successfully might not work anymore. Just the way it is. | ||
