His major downfalls are he gets caught in storm a ton. And his macro slips when he's microing so hard.
Other than that, that was some near flawless play from SeleCT.

Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here. Pretty please, with minerals on top.

His TvP is still looking amazing like it did at the blizzcon invitational where he said that's all he was practicing lol there is nothing amazing, he is doing all others can do. really nothing special Cry a bit more. Awesome play from SelecT!! Hope to see him make the up downs, will be tough if he's playing sC next round though.

It would work if Alicia's PvT was at least as deadly as Select's TvP. Select just played that nearly perfectly, only taking losses in a few storms.

Not lose 5 gateways to an early drop? Game was over before the ghosts hit the field. But how could he when medivacs offered so much mobility? Colossus are the obvious answer, long range, can walk up cliffs, they eat Bio units. Alicia was one of the people at the forefront of the Gateway units only charge, and for a long time his PvT was ridiculously good. But at the moment, these kinds of builds are struggling.

I recently read a very interesting article about Bisu, and in it, it describes the importance of maintaining momentum when nurturing potential and dominance. A player’s confidence begins as a snowball rolling down a hill. It is a stream from a mountain peak or a baby tyrannosaur hatching from an egg. It is easily melted, diverted or even killed by the smallest of events at infancy. It needs to be nurtured and given time to grow. One bad experience at the wrong time in a player’s career and their magic will forever be lost, their confidence irreparably damaged. Dominance is unforgiving, and thus it is rare. To achieve it players must be not only be among the elite in technical skill but must walk a confidence minefield, vulnerable to circumstance and bad luck. Yellow is the poster child for the sad story of being so close, literally with his fingers around the magic but never able to hang on. I firmly believe that had Yellow won that first Coca-Cola OSL Final against Boxer back in 2001 their places in history would be reversed. We would be talking about Zerg and Terran completely differently today. The two most significant players in Brood War history came to their biggest crossroads at the most fragile point in their careers. We did not know it then, but player-wise it was easily the most influential, historical moment in ProGaming history. So much came down to one game on Neo Hall of Valhalla. It is what made Boxer "Boxer" and Yellow "Yellow." One player left that game with the magic, one player did not. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=56672 I have a feeling that Alicia's troubles may have occurred to him too soon in his career, and perhaps his bad luck is snowballing into a slump based on a lack of confidence.

I think there's a very realistic chance that MC could drop out here as well, although I hope he can stay in Code A.

There's like a total of 10 foreigners that you could put up there and say "yeah, he might be able to beat a Korean" (Sjow, Select, Huk, Jinro, Naniwa, etc etc) Whereas you pretty much have every Korean in the GSL that would be heavily favored against all the other foreigners. It's not a stretch. Wins here and there are great, but Foreigners haven't been top 6 in the last 2 MLGs.

Maybe I'm retarded. Can you not move Archons that are morphing? Was sure you could. Oh, well. never mind me, then. Your army cant but you cant Sorry, but I have no idea what you're trying to say. When you occasionally see morphing archons move, it's only because you moved your army and the archon in the way gets pushed along by the other units. you can't actually command it to move.

Yes sounds like a great tech switch idea in theory... but please tell me how you would plan on staying alive while you wait for your robo and a decent enough collosi count to actually do anything? The only way to go collosi is to plan it from the start or be far ahead and buying time....

Feels like the conventional Collosi play is like the only viable TvP strat or something. Yeah, then lose to a ghost push during the colossi transition if that doesn't work, lose anyway because colossi are bad if terran can micro and produce the proper amount of vikings. I think I watch PvX matches in GSL because I love being annoyed.
