Go TOP and July! Underdogs fighting~ and also I think any final except this one would probably be one-sided as hell.

Optimus might not wow you with amazing builds or new strategies, but just like TOP, he's solid. His timing attacks might be the best in the world, and he knows how to use his bionic units to the best of their ability. He can be behind for 90% of the game, but can think up an attack that turns the match on it's head in less than twenty seconds. +1, Polt is exactly this kind of player.

I hope that TOP can pull off the win there. Yeah he's so dislikeable with his...college-going and his...shiny forehead...??

GOmTV's studios are in a High School, and I believe Top has a lot of friends that go there, so when he plays the studio is usually pretty packed. To be honest, Top rubs me the wrong way. He plays some really ugly games and relies on his macro to keep him alive. There was a game in his Code A run where he basically lost almost every single army engagement, but won in the end because after the last battle he remaxed faster. I mean macro is as much of a skill as army control (I'm sure someone will go ahead and tell me it's harder and I might agree depending on the day), but relying on the opponent being unable to capitalize on your mistakes (donating your army) seems like a flimsy way to play. I know, I'm being too hard on him and he doesn't do that *every* game. But it seems like there's always a game each series where he just does something really newbie (even in GSL 1, Day[9] described his game vs Fruitdealer as this - he had FD on the ropes, then waits until he builds not 3, but 15 Thors, then puts them on the one spot of the map where he can get surrounded and they get surrounded and die and he loses the deciding game). I don't know why it bugs me so much, since most players do bone-headed things from time-to-time. I guess I'm more critical cuz he's always calling out Nada and losing to him (at least back it up when you're gonna do that!).

If I didn't know you were talking about these semi-finals, I would've guessed you were describing Bomber, who plays the same way on certain days. Also, I haven't caught him calling out NaDa for anything, but if I had to guess, it could be because NaDa's macro is nowhere near as sound as TOP's -- NaDa still gets supply-blocked consistently in his games -- and also because ... they're teammates? Playful ribbing as well as having a deeper knowledge of NaDa's play than most other people probably explains his comments, whatever those comments are. Anyways, I actually like Polt's play-style -- brutal timing attacks, what? -- but, as others have mentioned before, his shiny forehead gets to me. Also, he always seems to have a smug smirk on his face. Rubs me the wrong way. I'm sure TOP got so many of the GOMTV votes because of his deep, manly voice. With FD out of Code S, he's the last one standing, man.
