It's not even that. He has a very distinctive style which although very effective, can make Polt seem like a one-trick pony. He almost always relies on timing attacks to put him ahead sufficiently enough to cover his shortcomings in late-game mechanics/decision making. I'm not saying he's bad at it or anything, but there are many players with a better late-game. It just seems like he always finds ways to kill players before it gets to that point. Now, that's a perfectly legit way to play in SC2, but it doesn't really help him win fans.

Really happy for TOP, but I don't think he has the caliber that MVP does for a finals win. Who knows but.
I really enjoyed last night's games, July v MVP was particularly fierce. When he executed that ling/bling/muta timing attack, he sure looked like the God of War I remember 
I'll have to set up the TV for the finals!

Either Koreans hate Polt or they see something TOP's play that most of TL don't. That poll is a strange one.

+ Show Spoiler + What have you been smoking, MMA was beaten by Polt if I remember correctly. It's MVP vs July and if by MMA you mean MVP yes MVP did end up winning 3-1 over July.

Go POLT! been a fan of polt since the 1st GSL (he had the builds!) Nice Ro4 but seeing 3 Terran makes me sad. I really appreciate the match ups vs Z & P oppose to the mirror matches...
