He wants to believe it is a UFO so he throws away the logical explanation that is 100000000 times more likely. That last video is about the least compelling "sighting" I've ever seen. True. Well put.

Well UFO just means unidentified flying object, so hell yeah it's a UFO. If I pump my granny full of helium, she's a UFO. I've seen too many fake videos of space aliens at this point now though to even believe in the slightest that they exist anywhere near our planet unless someone catches one from the air right infront of me, and then performs a disectomy while not moving it out of my sight. Even then I'd probably think it's fake, come to think of it. Either way I don't see why it's so exciting. Even if the skies are fucking swamped by different kinds of space snails I don't feel the whole excitement part... I just don't care.

How do we know they would look like saucers anyway?

There is literally no question about it. UFO=Unidentified Flying Object. Until it is identified, that is all it is. To think that it is aliens or something on the other hand is not, in my opinion, the best guess.

Of all the aerodynamic shapes, Aliens picked saucers? If they're advanced enough to be able to travel galaxys surely they're intelligent enough to come up with a more aerodynamic shape than a saucer, especially when traversing Earth's atmosphere.

A saucer is aerodynamic... Whoever said something about a scratch or blemish on the window, you are wrong. If there is a blemish on the window, the shuttle wouldn't be able to reenter Earth's atmosphere.

How do we know they would look like saucers anyway? surprise to you, there was In ancient China history, there is a special department that specialise on looking at the stars to predict the future, basically serves as fortune teller for the King. There had been records of "Stars" that were so bright that it lit up the people's face who were observing them. Also some were "flying back and forth" with "sound like thunder" Probably one of the most well-known one of all, one very famous chinese poet, 苏东波, had a poem about a strange sighting during his travel. in basic translation, it is "midnight, moon is down, the river appears to have a fire, it was bright and flew past mountain, birds are all frightened." "not ghost, not human, what is it?" But the largest viewing of UFO is one that had hundreds of people viewing, a red, slow flying egg shaped thing flying past the city for a while. There are others that even one King himself viewed some UFO and this one had a good description of the shape. "The night, the sky has bright as it is covered by a umbrella (umbrella that are used to cover the chinese traditional transport, shapes like the roman chariot but driven by human). Sound as loud as thunder, shakes the city (or part of city? not too sure about this) the shape is like an umbrella, from a horizontalview point, the top is sharp and bottom is flat." *I can post the chinese lines but they are quite difficult because not only where they in simplified chinese, they were also in traditional chinese grammar...which is all very weird, poem like style language

Of course a saucer is aerodynamic but I was saying surely a being of higher intelligence would find something more aerodynamic than a saucer to shape their spaceships on.
