and it has to be an one base all in.
The strategy mvp used to beat MC is not 1-1-1 all in. MC has enough time to expand and create the army he needs. MVP played a containing style of its own with the tanks which was damn freaking cool

Fooled MC that's for sure. Eitherway I love watching him play. True special tactics. Well....no. The unit composition was similar with marines, tanks and a banshee but it came much later. If I recall it was a 4-1-1 after 1 rax expand. Obviously not the same thing.

Q: You've said some things about Terran balance on Twitter recently. (laughs) A: 1-1-1 is very strong. Because it has a lot of applications, it's really powerful. It's extremely difficult for Protoss. Even though it's really strong, I've rejected the 1-1-1 and don't use it in my games. (laughs) Fans have a lot of different reactions to the 1-1-1, but players can't help it. Don't progamers have to win? You have to understand how important it is. [T/N unsure on this last sentence, sorry. seems like MVP admits it is strong but thinks fan backlash is a little too harsh] Mad respect to MVP for this lol

He lost on purpose in order to convince David Kim to nerf Terrans in the next patch. Let us remember the Zerg God's sacrifice for the fruition of this glorious patch. + Show Spoiler + Of course I'm joking around here. <.<

Incontrol artosis and the others need to play some korean terrans, they are ticking me off with the claims of how to beat it. The Chinese casters also think that Artosis is the one (is he?) who does the obs for the GSL games. So whenever a drop is missed or when something crucial is totally ignored, they go nuts and start bagging Artosis. 1-1-1 is known as 真善美 in Chinese. This is roughly translated as "Of the most noble virtue", obviously a huge troll on the abusive nature of the 1-1-1.

By the time sc2 came out, boxer, july, and to a lesser extent nada were noobs compared to mvp in sc1.
