Have at look at this my friends.

I've had a long history of raging very hard. Luckily I learned my lesson the first time when I vented my rage onto the blog section and was promptly banned for it. So now I can at least post somewhat responsibly. I still continued to rage after which really messed up my gaming experience, SC2 just wasn't fun to play whenever I raged.
So I got fed up and decided to do my best to deal with it. But it's not easy. When people in those rage threads reply with some thing like "grow up its the fucking internet" or "grow a thicker hide" and what not, they really just don't understand. And surely they still won't understand even after reading this blog, in fact my "angry" self believes that they refuse to when they don't even attempt to prove their point. Put that and the fact that you're trying to hold your sanity together while wading through your losses, it's quite stressful, why would I lie about that?
But I kept playing. Even after making a depressing blog trying to figure out whether or not I should just give up on SC2 completely. The days went by, and I continued to struggle to keep calm. Eventually after a month of blood and tears things got easier. I discovered that when you lose SO MANY times to the cheesiest of the cheese, all-ins galore, and whatnot- you begin to just not care and solely focus on how to beat it. I ran into this Protoss player, who must love watching Deezer or CombatEx play, because in the 4 game series I had encountered with him he pulled out nearly every trick in the book. From the great 2base 7gate push, 4gate, cannon rush (he literally attempted to do it like 3 times), dts, void rays- he was quite a gimmicky player. Yet I just sat through it, and beat him. That made my decision to stay with this amazing game completely worth it.
Now today, as you can see in the above picture. After rightly defeating me so, with a build that I've been having trouble with in the past 3 games the guy began to dish out some bm. How did I react? I smiled and chuckled as I told my friends on skype about this internet tough guy trying to incite some rage out of me.
I'm really proud of myself right now, because I wanted to play SC2 to prove myself as a person and not just as a gamer. I may not be an amazing Masters player, and lately my progress has been slow, but as a person I feel like I grew a little.
I may have lost a game of Starcraft 2. But personally, I've made a small victory within myself. That's right I'm looking at you BM players, forum trolls, negative nancys, condescending keyboard warriors- yes all of you douchebags. Tonight I have won over you, and I will continue to do my best to remain immune to all of your unproductive and unconstructive comments.
For those who have broken keyboards, snapped headsets, stomped on expensive wireless-N adapters because of a spike, hang in there. Just keep playing. It's worth it. And remember despite how people may look down on you for raging, there are people just like you who care and understand. So hang in there and don't give up!

Gratz man, I'd have to say back in the BW days I was quite similar... on iCCup every protoss was going DT rush or horror gate or some sort of cheese EVERY GAME then after playing almost 1k games... It just stopped bothering me and eventually losing could be somewhat frustrating but to me the easiest way to get over it was just click teh find match again
Also it I've found it quite fun to troll the guy who just happens to BM you :o.

It's hard to call horror gates cheese if you actually know what horror gates are. Hard to call DTs cheese either, but horror gates more so.

I rarely say anything in games other than "gl hf" "gg" and "lol". Also I make liberal use of squelch functions.
Awesome blog, I love to read stuff like this Grats! <3

If only everyone could ignore all the trolls and BM, we would all be so much happier

You're not obligated to wish your opponent to have good luck or have fun. I never understood it really, it's a completely inane thing to do. Hell, I'm going to write a blog about it.

Well guys those are gimmicky builds are they not? I didn't call them cheese, I just used to word cheese just to describe the kind of stuff I run into. Funny thing is after I made this blog I lost 4 straight games in a row to cheese, like the good 'ol marine scv all in on shattered temple close positions, 2gate, 8 pool all-in no follow up, and a 5rax off 1 base. Pretty sure that's cheese bro.
But hey I'm not mad. I blame my friends for distracting me on skype for those games =_=

There was 1 dude that raged at me for not saying it back (ahha sounds kind of fruity) now I didn't say anything but I thought to myself, "fuck you for trying to make me feel obligated to do something" yeah yeah it doesn't hurt to type "gl hf gg" back but I just choose not to, back off already ^_^. When I was first introduced to the internet I wasn't the type that raged but some stuff annoyed the hell out of me and now I have the thickest skin ever lol.

SC2 bm isn't even that bad most of the time. After playing DotA for like 6 years, you stop giving a shit about bm. BM is all about getting you to rage, you can either continue acting polite or go for the annual flamefest.
We actually won a CW once by flaming Allah (lol), that team had 0 manners/wanted us to play on their horrible 250ms host/etc. After 5 minutes of back and forth bm, they just quit.
