female girlfriends as managers If the spoiler is one element in the successes of the slayerS team than EG might become an ever mightier force than they already have shown!

There was nothing stopping Idra from working at least 8 hours a day for the last few months. There's no way he's suddenly going to do that. There's no financial incentive for him to work 8 hours a day to come in top 3 when he can instead work 3 hours a day and come in top 8 and make virtually the same amount. He has shown for the last few months that he would rather play 3 hours, so why would that all of a sudden change?

Why NOT Arizona? Idra is seeing tourny results? which tourny? IPL?.... correct me if i'm wrong but he said something to the effect that with the people in that tourney there is no reason he should not have won.

Well I don't know about you, but if it were me and I were having trouble staying motivated, the expectations of my team and the pressure to play 8 hours a day would practically force me to do it even if I loathed it. Although, knowing IdrA he probably doesn't care much about that.

I never said it doesn't work. It obviously works if you actually do it. The point is you have to have people who follow through. The EG guys have already scoffed at the 12 hours the Koreans do and they're going to do a more modest 6-8 hours. That's already cutting corners. And if Idra only wants to do 5 hours one day do you think that there will be some kind of consequence? Of course not.

But with Monster footing the bill on the new house, I guess they can finally save some money on their small paychecks. Good luck to them! Edit: Hopefully the training goes better then this! =) Linky to Youtube

I hope by handing the reigns over to Anna, the players can be completely focused on their craft and show (even more of) a competitive presence in tournaments to come. I don't think they spend that much time on marketing and self promotion. It's more of a difference in competition (much higher in KR so you get pushed that much more) and work ethic (very few foreigners have that kind of structured training regimen that the Korean pros do). Lol and by that I guess you mean maybe EG will finally place someone on a podium at a major event now? SlayerS is led by a borderline mama-bear girl friend to an ex BW Bonjwa in Korea along with coaches and players from the Korean BW pro scene...let's wait a while before we start drawing the parallels to SlayerS.
