you know that he was joking right? a veyron costs more than 1,7 million dollars and there are less than 300 cars in the whole world. even if you have the money its not guaranteed that you get one, even if youre a multi millionaire it can take month or even years. this was obviously not idras car and never will be.

Freaking calgary, Dude, there is people in Calgary who make $60k a year managing at McDonalds. It's all relative, there is people with masters and professional degrees in Arizona who have had to move elsewhere for employment or simply cannot find work. It's not like you could move to Arizona and still making $100k a year without any education working on an oil rig like you can in Calgary. oh please, people who manage mcdonalds don't earn $60k a year. They earn as much as their american counterparts. And don't think that you can even hope to compete in calgary's oil and gas market without finishing uni unless your dream is to drive trucks. It's insanely competitive.

I was wondering the same thing. When you put bunch of guys together to a house like that i think good times will be had but no idea about actually improving in sc2 
Teams really need to think about hiring capable coaches who makes sure people practice and practice the right things instead of mass ladder on NA. Some sort of mental coach for idra would be a good investment aswell

Incontrol is pretty much going to be coach. And they'll probably all end up playing on Korea in the end.

I strongly believe getting on the KR server will be key. they should completely give up the NA server, unless it's for like blizzcon invites or something.
a coach isn't really needed, I feel that they need the KR ladder to be able to compete with koreans, and then add the coach if they want to be better than koreans.
i dunno what magic they'll have to do to get an account, but they gotta do it, Destiny got one somehow,
they just gotta swallow their pride once they realize that they'll probably be stuck in KR Masters for some time, even though they are GMs over in NA
and the lag, well, i think they can just deal with it, like the koreans dealt with it for NASL
anyway, i think they are smart folk and maybe already have korean accounts to play on, so this post is just lolz for them

buying a house for 150k really is not much, since people only pay for a small percentage in the first down payment.

Yes, they do make that much. In some areas of Alberta minimum wage can hover around $15 an hour.
The economy is super inflated but it's nearly to scale. They might make 60k a year, but they pay it all back in taxes/groceries/and rent. The reason it pays like that is supply and demand. There is a shortage of workers, so each worker is more valuable, thus they are willing to pay more for the services. It's a similar system in North Dakota. Untrained employees can be making 6 figure sin a matter of a few years.

They bought that house for 150 K cause its in Arizona and it was foreclosing. In Toronto where I live, a simply bacholar appartment is 300 000 dollars.
Everybody in the states has it pretty damn good compared to the rest of the world.

Sorry i dont see this working all that great. this will turn into a frat house more than a training house. You cant replicate the pressure and competitive nature of Korea in Arizona. It will be fun to live there but I dont expect them to improve or produce greater results as a team. Let's wait and see if I am wrong.
