And plus there's probably loads to talk about because of MLG You mean lots of results to announce and asking the players what games they watched, to which they will respond "I was too busy."?! You bet your butt there will be! $50 says that real strategy discussion of any kind consists of less than 20% of the show.

I guess JP could get some agreement to be sure. Also, he was good to have on the show and everyone knows that. The only thing i worry about is the artosis incontrol debate xD But seriously, jp better keep artosis no matter what

Also, since Day9 often leaves early it might even fill the show out a bit more to have the both of them on. Leah needs to be on a lot less though (nothing against her, but I'd prefer all the regulars to be SC2 pros. It'd be cool if she guest MC'd though, knock JP out every now and again, as long as she could drive the conversation points forward). That said it was such a bad move for incontrol to leave in the first place. I don't see a world where him being on there with thousands of people listening to him would ever be bad on a practical sense, even if there was some sort of sponsor collision or whatever.

She's clearly not someone to take advice from as trusting as you would from tyler or the other guest, but i don't think she is attempting to look like that as it is. Although i do like the just hangin with the guys feel of SoTG lolol

I don't want to start a useless shitstorm, but I think this is something worth pointing out: At around 2:00, incontrol draws attention to the conversation at hand being boring or a waste of time (texting in front of the webcam), albeit jokingly, when it was among one of the better if not -the- best exchanges between two figureheads of the community on a podcast. Whether you agreed with Day or Idra is irrelevant: it illuminated sentiments held by nearly all of the community, either on the "zerg is underpowered" side or the "this requires a lot more information, situations are unique" side. I know it might have been due to Geoff hearing it from Greg all the time, and I don't mean to make a mountain out of a molehill, but he mocks worthwhile exchange and then turns around to consume 20-30 minutes of a show committing worse crimes of cyclical debate or rolling around in community drama. I wish the guy the best of success, and have nothing personally against him, but would prefer other people. Unless, of course, he has realized this and has transformed. But I think not

But I think not You're reading way the heck more into that than was actually there. What could he have possibly added to that conversation? Either he sides with idra and is suddenly hated for supporting an opinion as jaded as idra's, or he doesn't, and is hated for not supporting his teammate. When people take partisan sides in things like this, unless you're as truly neutral as day9 (which let's face it, has gotten a bit dull, outside of his debate with idra... which was still a position of neutrality.) You're going to get shit for anything you do. The politics within this game are the same as politics everywhere. That debate was between two people. Anyone sticking their hand into that conversation was likely to get it bitten off. I think you're really just looking for an excuse to dislike someone you don't agree with. While I didn't always agree with his position, he was a driving force that really kept the show moving, even through the hours of worthless tournament stats.

With how much weight he's thrown towards keeping the conversation moving in SO many of these SOTG's, even as the subjects discussed got more and more awful and boring, I'll allow him a few moments of silence and texting. After all, it's just some nerds sitting in front of a webcam, with no particular one on center stage at all times, for two hours. Who cares if they just take a short break to shovel food into their mouth (a-la day9) or look at their phone, or surf the internet, when it's not their turn to talk? I sure know that if I was on the show, any time Leah started talking, I'd be browsing team liquid and be A.D.D.ing myself out of the conversation until she was done.

But that's not exactly what I meant. No matter! It's not important! Excited for the next show during which we discuss sheth's mlg victory
