Though, I did read somewhere that KeSPA did say they were looking to start getting involved with SC2. Dunno how its gonna work, with GOM and the SC2 Players' association and all, but it'll be interesting. However, that bit of news was really recent, long after the decision to hold the PL Finals in Shanghai. There is no indicator that KeSPA is trying to "slowly move away from BW".

umm are you sure you are looking at the KeSPA website? There is no mention of SC2 on the homepage at all.

Now i am messed up, only because i am not chinese. That is totaly unfair.
They have to check an ID otherwise anyone would buy tickets. And since every country has a different ID numbering it would be really difficult for the shop to recognize a valid ID from every single country
Any way, unless you are a tourist that came to Shanghai for a few weeks, I'm sure you could have found someone to buy tickets for you
I think we got enough tickets so you can have one. I bought two even though I needed only one just in case other TLers couldn't get some.

The point of the ID is to prevent ticket scalping, they do it with all form of tickets, trains, planes, etc.
Usually a passport number is good enough, but it'll probably only work if you call them, the chinese media organization covering it has been giving out tickets as well, as a form a promotion, It'll be nice to go but I'll just be watching it on TV...its too hot in shanghai lol

Just out of curiosity, how much do the tickets cost? I was under the impression (admittedly with no experience) that the events were free.
