I love Bisu more than anyone else and god knows thats true, but if I see a picture of him after page 5 it will result in 2 days ban. Thats enough, be warned. -disciple |
Day 1 was definitely a big CJ choke. 4 favourable matchups and they went 1/4, that's pretty inexcusable especially for a team that probably boasts the most one-matchup players (or at least players known for one matchup exclusively) of any team. Can't really blame the coach on this one, it's all on Movie and Hydra imo (and Snow for an absolutely abysmal game). Come on, even free beat Action D:
And day 2 just sucked lol
|
Couldn't watch either day live unfortunately. But I'm surprised that KT advanced with such an ease. On paper CJ looked way stronger and all I hoped was that KT will bring it to the ace and Flash will close it. Instead Flash went only 1-1 and still KT won both days 4:2.
Good job KT! Makes me extremely happy.

A day later and I'm still bitter. Not a good way to end the season at all. Leta didn't deserve this.

Honestly you will never know how unspeakably happy it makes me that Woongjin gave KT a much better fight than CJ did.
There's always next season... and with Light, I honestly think there's a chance to take it all (aka getting a higher seed).

Let's just say CJ needed more Effort...

Why not just be a neutral and just be entertained I ll say that s2 or even Hyuk (Jaedong Slayer!! :p) have rather good vZ, and can outmatch any KT Zergs outside of Crazy-Hydra in a ZvZ game. As for by.Sun (or Rain if u so prefer), personally i rate his vZ ability to be as high as Stats, so he too stand a fighting chance.. Some time ago I ll say something about Fanta too, for now i ll just shut up and hope that he bring his usual clutch playoffs self to the Grand Finals. Heres hoping we will have an Epic Grand Finals. Also i have been rather worried about the current state of ZvP. I dont know why Bisu never seem to be on the receiving end of 3H Hydra, but i personally feel that its very powerful. Whether it be the all-in variance, Eco-heavy variance, or the count-cannon-then-respond variance... Basically after all of the playoffs at this point.. The many make-hydras-A-click-win ZvP are making me worried a bit. I hope Bisu showcase one of his "secret" PvZ build that he mentioned to enlighten us a little. Now I get to explain to you why all of this is so farcical. 1: Zero and Soulkey are much, much better in every matchup compared to SKT Zergs, yet we handled them well in ZvZ. The fact that you even compared By.Sun's PvZ to be as good as Stats is a joke: Did you not notice that Stats just beat the two best Zergs in the playoffs in Hydra and Zero? Unless your guys suddenly turned into Jaedong, they're not favored against Stats and Flash, and saying they're clearly better in ZvZ is silly considering we just trumped better ZvZ teams. TL;DR: The ZvZs will be a tossup, By. Sun is not as good as Stats and you're bonkers for saying he is. Stats: You are easily pleased by Stats' 2 recent vZ wins, i am still skeptical because i keep in mind his previous performance (we both know how he played after Winners' League ended). So i will just accept that difference in opinion, conveniently ignore the random demeaning comments here and there too. Zergs: I already accepted that Crazy-Hydra is better than our own Zergs in vZ. Your other Zergs didnt beat Zero. Actually seemed to me that even in the CH game Zero lost his concentration and lost due to sloppiness, but since our Zerg are fully capable of the same thing i wont go there. Outside of the Zergs, we have a person that match up really well vs Flash this season, a player who is always clutch in Playoffs, the Rookie of the Year, and the Most Wins King. I am confident in our chances. I wouldn't base Stats's ability to PvZ based on his games vs Zero and Hydra.. he beat them because they were too greedy (and stupid) with their reaction to Stats's zealot timings. But, Stats does have pretty solid PvZ (or used to, his standard game has been a bit weak recently), so he might give SKT Zergs a run for their money. I would still favor s2/Soo/Hyuk in ZvP over Stats because they are less likely to be crippled by a Zealot timing attack. And Rain might not have the same PvT or PvP ability as Stats, but his PvZ is quite good so it makes sense to rate Rain's PvZ as high as Stats's.
Also s2 mopped the floor with KT Zergs last time, and he also mopped the floor with Zero in the OSL Prelims. s2 and Hyuk both have stellar ZvZ abilities, while Soo's is adequate recently. KT Zergs defintely want to avoid ZvZ matchups, and to say otherwise is just dumb.
|
Yep, you're right, beating Hydra and Zero doesn't mean anything, while beating a slumping calm 3 months ago and soulkey 2 months ago makes Sun the equal to Stats. You guys have to be kidding me.

Lol I think KT is in such a bad position right now, because...
BISU WILL ALL-KILL !!!
The fear of Bisu's all-kill is just too great that KT will choke and lose 0-4 lol (to Bisu of course)

Drown yourself in Glory now while you still can...
Till the Sixth of August
All that crap of the past doesnt mean squat .. Stats barely came off a slump, much like Bisu last year (though his slump was longer, only to make his (re)rise to Dominance that much more Glorious ^-^).. And Bisu now is the season's Most Wins King, far more than who Stats was last year.. While i understand why you cling so dearly to Stats most glorious victory of his life, this year has proven that it has been (and will be) completely different. You might wanna keep looking only at the past though, cos this Grand Finals' gonna be brutal for KT :>
@aupstar Its convenient to look only at last year's Grand Finals. But i, among many others, prefer to look at more recent events.. Like their last encounter, or the one before that, or the one before that one.
Or at 6 August, aka our next victory

I really dislike the current seeding the top 2 get. IMO it should be something more like #1 and #2 get a buy past the first round. #3 v #6 winner plays #2, #4 v #5 winner plays #1. Getting seeded directly into the finals is just crazy.
