its still abit stiff. it looks like you are making deliberate cuts and probably some double lift-esque things in there.
if you want a real challenge try to learn how to do a proper pass. its really simple looking but its a fascinating effect and it can be applied and modified to create alot of different tricks.
a disclaimer, this is still better than what I can do. I like to read and educate myself about these kinds of tricks but im terrible at performing them. so props to you for what you have so far.

Pretty cool, I'd prefer it with a bit more speed though.

Thanks for the feedback . Yes the cuts are deliberate and are 100% part of the presentation for the trick. As for using a pass on this one, I don't see how it would've helped. I feel it's much more powerful if everything is done out in the open.

I was going to say that the cuts were noticeable. I love this type of stuff. I remember my buddy messing with me and I finally figured out how the tricks worked.

Do you mind if I ask what was telling about the cuts?

i was just making a suggesting for something new that you could try later for a new trick.
and my comment was to try to make them look less deliberate =P

I can do a passable classic pass and I agree the effect is wowing, but I think his trick is pretty nice. His technique is occasionally a bit stiff but as someone who practiced magic for a bit, I can say what he's doing is pretty damn good.
edit: as for tells, the noticeable pauses before breaking the deck make things obvious to the careful observer, I guess. But well done.

Ah yeah~ I was going for a relaxed style/presentation so I tried to do things a little slower, but I guess it makes some things look too stiff! Have to work on that.
Still looking for other TL magicans though! Any type of magic is fine :D
