It's hard to say when it all started.
Only thing I know is that there were a LOT of people from all around Europe who came to Paris just to see the concert because it was the only one on the whole continent so far. I met Germans there, Spanish, English and even some from Eastern Europe (whose languages sound all the same to me). Just sayin' you can't assume that this was all France. But in itself, Kpop is pretty damn popular around here, at least more than you'd expect.
Who is the most popular group? Girls were going crazy over super junior lol

I'd say SNSD/ShinEE/SuJu. But that's a wild guess. Fan base is mostly female around here. Which makes for a lot of boy band fans.
But it's hard to determine. Kpop isn't actually publicly admired - due to lack of concerts, European artists (it's KPOP after all, duh), fan meetings etc. and thus due to being considered kind of strange. The Paris concert was definitely an eye-opener. But still, it's hard to actually grasp concrete numbers.

srsly? I used to be a huge Dara fan but only because of taeyang's I need a girl mv and I didn't know too much about 2ne1 at that time. (She's cute but too old and slim)
but to me she's the most beautiful femal idol only second to SNSD's TIffany
