Okay so on Facebook, we have a group for people in our grade. No teacher moderates it so we use it to share some schoolwork, talk about w/e that would not be appropriate talking about in a group with a teacher. We have about 7/10th of our grade in the group but only about 20 maybe are generally active.
With the start of summer break, we would notice that an impostor is wrecking all of our notifications. and a couple of us asked to leave the group. We thought it was a prankster in our grade but we tried tracking this person down. He doesnt seem to be in the group or even have an existing facebook. Hes using the lastname of some people in the group and talking in the infamous group chat. I tried going to his profile but with no avail.
basically, theres this guy who may or may not be welcome and we cant get rid of him. I think im being a little vague so ill explain any holes that i left about this stranger. I want to know how hes doing this/ how this can be avoided

Why don't you just kick him out using the grou pmoderation interface on facebook and change the group type to secret? You'd have to individually invite players, but it's better than having people randomly come in

Wouldn't it be easier to leave the group and just make a new one and make it a closed group?

We only invited our grade. everyone is an admin but i unadmined major suspects and nothing was solved. This guy is NOT shown in the group list as i chekced hte group list while he was spamming our group chat
apm66, i suggested we remake the secret group to see if the guy can access another group immediately or anything. He said "it wont matter" but i want to try it. problem is, no one else is willing to cooperate

There are some that run trough firefox via cookies. But yeah, do what aRyuujin is telling you, or stop using it at school.

Have you tried contacting Facebook support instead of a completely different website?

You're so cool and original and funny and hipster for this!
Anyways can't you just tell your friends to go to settings and turn notifications off, then they can just check the group whenever they feel like it. I know that's not the best solution but there's obviously some weird kid hating on your group and no one seems to know what to do about it.

@ Kenpachi: double facepalm.
Pretty ironic for someone as slow as you to call me dumb and ignorant.
Oh and calling fellow TL'ers dumb/ignorant these days no longer results in warnings/bans? Thanks mods good to know.

I think its justified when i said it but I Am Very Sorry if it was offensive. I Will Not Do It Again. Sir.

I think this is an interesting example of the human psychology. A secret group increases in number and eventually something bad happens. Seems to be a repetition in history. But yeah I have a secret facebook group but we only have 3 people. So nothing can really go wrong...
