Excellent! The first question to ask when buying presents is always hair color. But seriously for a newly wed couple, practical gifts are best IMO. Something that can be used around the house (linens, kitchenware etc...)
You could hire me to come out and do some great Balloon Decor work!! ^_^
But really if there is any balloon decorators in your area look them up and maybe you can get a nice, elegant balloon bouquet or a nice string of pearl arch behind the cake table or as a back drop for a photo area. You should be able to find something that's not to pricey but really adds to the event. Just make sure you get colors that go with the event.
Or just go and get a gift card to some sort of home store, like Pier One or something new family's love getting odds and ends for the house.
Do think like liquors? I'm getting married next month and we wish we could register at the liquor store heh. Not like raging alcoholic liquor, but nice stuff thats cool to try but more expensive than one would likely buy for themselves.
Something like this? I get a lot of wedding related commissions. Like people set up projector and play this at the reception and stuff, extremely well received from feed backs.

I couldn't watch the video due to some music copyright of Youtube in Germany. But I get the idea of what you meant. I'd love to have one, but many that would be better for 1st anniversary, and it's probably too late now (only 2 and half weeks left)

Very nice, I will try to look for something special, and if it's really cool or fit with the apartment, I'll surely buy one.

That's a nice idea but liquors in Germany cost quite a few. And for a freshman like me, it's kinda over-priced x_x. Furthermore, they already had a cupboard filled with alcohols But if I find something appropriate, I would definitely buy :D
