On Xel Naga specifically.. I remember multiple times where you had 3 or 4 hellions that could of killed tons of SCVs, but they were a-moved and wasted time attacking marauders. Lots of things like that.

When IdrA goes on tilt his "mechanics" also go godawful, he can get supply blocked at times he really, really shouldn't. Does that mean IdrA has bad mechanics? Or just that he tilts?

Let me list the things that went completely fuckign wrong game 1: - It started on th e WRONG FUCKING MAP. - Restart on the right map, I forget depot and have to use a calldown (HUGE) - Barracks is supposed to scout for banshee but I fail because I dont know, Im tilting at about the depot probably. - Because of the banshee I cant take my tower, which means I cant control the center, which means I cant take gold, which means I cant just put 2 vikings in each air space and be safe from all counters, which means my ENTIRE GAME PLAN for the map is out the window. Yes, everything suffered after that because I had no idea how to react, because not once in practice did I FORGET A DEPOT AND NOT SCOUT BANSHEE. Game 2 the biggest issue was letting my 2nd banshee die for NO reason at all, which forced me to make a 3rd b anshee, which meant I had no vikigns to protect my banshee..... As for people saying I shouldnt have attacked the mraauders in the hellion sneaks, I dont think you guys realized they were all red HP, because the observer doesnt have HP bars on - but I do. I also couldnt sleep the entire night before this (I dunno when I fell asleep, but Im guessing around 6 or 7 am after laying in bed for many hours) which made things even worse in terms of being able to focus when things didnt go right. It annoys me when people see these games and think its some kind of mechanical deficiency, when what you should be pointing at is the fact that I made retarded errors that lead into terrible situations, errors that are so easy to not make that they are completely unrelated to mechanics. it was bad play, but not because of mechanics, it was bad play because I made mistakes which greatly altered the nature of the game and I had no idea how to adjust for it, nor am I sure I could have in game 1 since the entire build was made for taking tower control. I wanna give a shoutout to asd for being awesomely manner and agreeing to play the other map pool despite not having practiced metal (I didnt practice metal much either but thats still more than not practicing). I have played like 6 TvTs on dual site EVER, so Im pretty happy I didnt have to play it (we were given different map lists, Xelnaga Crossfire, Metal for me and Dual Site, Crossfire, Xelnaga for him, he agreed to play the first list as long as metal was 3rd). Maybe you already know this, but I feel it's something that needs to be known more commonly: sleep is incredibly important, and sleep deprivation has a huge effect on people (and enough sleep deprivation is incredibly dangerous). A person might feel fine after an all nighter, and after pulling many all nighters throughout their life they might feel accustomed to the effects, but even if you FEEL fine, you really won't be nearly as alert and focused as you would have been otherwise. I took a class at Stanford about sleep and dreams, and the main point they wanted to give us, and for us to give others, was: Drowsiness is Red Alert. In other words... I want my favorite players to be well rested before they play their important matches. Also, sorry about the tilt =(

Normally when I have a lot of worries and can't sleep I try to think about something that entertains me. Trying to figure out the things that worry you will lead you to just stay awake all night long. My most recent scenario is imagining what I would do if I wake up tomorrow and the world is overrun by zombies. Where would I go? Where would I barricade? Just think about whatever you find entertaining and that you can keep thinking about. Another favourite of mine is imagining how I would design my perfect game. Whatever floats your boat.

I hope we'll see you at more foreigner tournaments, though I suppose you've been at a few this year already. Maybe playing competitively more regularly will do you some good. I might be seeing something that isn't there, but it seems like you do have a problem with tilting when something unexpected happens. Maybe you're too used to having everything planned in advance, due to the way GSL works? Maybe not. Just a thought! Just keep going!

No, they were told to attack the maraduers because the marauders had 10 hp each -_______- I already wrote this in the thread. It might have been the wrong choice, but it was a micro decision not 'oh im afk'. On July 01 2011 20:08 Nando wrote: Looks like if something doesn't go as planned for Jinro he is falling apart. Look at the Match against Line of Bel'Shir Beach. Reactor got killed and the game was basicly over or the game vs HungOn on XelNaga ...Jinro wasn't prepared for Phoenix and just had no idea what to do. Stupid post - I just followed through with my build vs Line even when reactor died, the thing you should be pointing out is that theres no reason for the reactor to be in a position where it can be killed in the first place - just lift the rax and build the factory in its place and the reactor behind it. IE a preparation mistake, if you go reactor first and lose it like that of course you should fucking lose lol HongUn game has nothing to do with 'things not going as planned' - I had practiced against phoenix but I was just really bad at dealing with them at the time. Again nothing to do with phoenix somehow being unexpected... On July 01 2011 20:41 {ToT}ColmA wrote: Jinro, when u say "tilt" do u really get that angry and play shitty from there on? O.o i really hope that is not the case cuz that sounds way to unstable to be a player :3 Just a feeling of annoyance at how I wasted an entire game on something so stupid - because Im pretty sure nobody here thinks that Im actually bad enough that I cant play a build past 35 supply without supply capping myself (which is why people talking about mechanics piss me off when I lost because I made a far bigger mistake than that).

It's terrible if you can't fall asleep although you know that you will need all your energy and concentration on the next day. I've been there and I hate that feeling. You're lying in bed and you try to stop thinking about the next day, but the anxiety just doesn't go away and the harder you try to relax, the harder it becomes to fall asleep For what it's worth, I will keep cheering for you and I hope that next time you will be able to show us your best. Keep Fighting!
