Let me list the things that went completely fuckign wrong game 1: - It started on th e WRONG FUCKING MAP. - Restart on the right map, I forget depot and have to use a calldown (HUGE) - Barracks is supposed to scout for banshee but I fail because I dont know, Im tilting at about the depot probably. - Because of the banshee I cant take my tower, which means I cant control the center, which means I cant take gold, which means I cant just put 2 vikings in each air space and be safe from all counters, which means my ENTIRE GAME PLAN for the map is out the window. Yes, everything suffered after that because I had no idea how to react, because not once in practice did I FORGET A DEPOT AND NOT SCOUT BANSHEE. Game 2 the biggest issue was letting my 2nd banshee die for NO reason at all, which forced me to make a 3rd b anshee, which meant I had no vikigns to protect my banshee..... As for people saying I shouldnt have attacked the mraauders in the hellion sneaks, I dont think you guys realized they were all red HP, because the observer doesnt have HP bars on - but I do. I also couldnt sleep the entire night before this (I dunno when I fell asleep, but Im guessing around 6 or 7 am after laying in bed for many hours) which made things even worse in terms of being able to focus when things didnt go right. It annoys me when people see these games and think its some kind of mechanical deficiency, when what you should be pointing at is the fact that I made retarded errors that lead into terrible situations, errors that are so easy to not make that they are completely unrelated to mechanics. it was bad play, but not because of mechanics, it was bad play because I made mistakes which greatly altered the nature of the game and I had no idea how to adjust for it, nor am I sure I could have in game 1 since the entire build was made for taking tower control. I wanna give a shoutout to asd for being awesomely manner and agreeing to play the other map pool despite not having practiced metal (I didnt practice metal much either but thats still more than not practicing). I have played like 6 TvTs on dual site EVER, so Im pretty happy I didnt have to play it (we were given different map lists, Xelnaga Crossfire, Metal for me and Dual Site, Crossfire, Xelnaga for him, he agreed to play the first list as long as metal was 3rd). Thank you so much for coming in and giving us your thoughts, man, I understand we're a very tough crowd. Best of luck next season (and perhaps the GSTL), I thought you looked pretty good today in spite of those mistakes! ![]() Jinro kämpar!

The fact that even though you are dissapointed and come here to give insight into your games is absolutely phenomal. I really salute your play and I have no doubt you will win code A next season and get planted right into code S. Jinro Fighting!

Nobody is more disappointed than me, trust me, I would just prefer if people called my play retarded instead of not getting what I did wrong and blaming it on mechanics. Maybe if my mechanics were way better it would give me a better chance at turning games around, but the loss and terrible play didnt come from mechanics just really bad mistakes in the early game that ruined the rest of the game.

Hm, this is huge. Do you ahve this more often? Perhaps get some medicine/herbs/warm milk for this. Food+drink+sleep are the most important things. Your brain cant function properly without the sleep. Can understand you get thrown off when you get in to a stage which you have not practiced. That sucks man T_T!

It's just that right after the game.. fans gotta let off their steam as well and we dont know the game as much as you do. so we tend to talk stuffs that makes no sense to you. I understand it is very upsetting for you to read some BS flying around after a defeat but I think it's just part of things you gonna have to deal with as a pro. But if I made any comment that upset you, I apologize. I'm sure you are just letting off steam just like we were. Hell I would be. Come on jinro dont tilt too much. Have a shot of soju and start fresh. (I'm a korean :D) Hope you can get your confidence back with some practice. We are all rooting for you regardless.

In that case why did you go from top Code S to bottom Code A? Is it because your making "retarded mistakes" all the time for months in succession every game like those in the asd game? Come on man, I don't disagree that you made some errors against asd, everyone has their errors occasionally but I think the real issue is that you started falling behind while others are moving forward. I know you have it in you, you've shown what your capable of. Getting good rest doesn't hurt, but more importantly you just need to practice more or something, I don't know I'm not a pro player. Clearly from your big slump though it can't be blamed on every single individual game making some retarded mistakes, on a whole it's something bigger then that. That's all I'm trying to say.

Everything stems down to this, IMO. It doesn't matter how mentally tough you think you are, sleep-loss just dulls everything down, to degrees that's impossible to perceive. You can not possibly be as aware and on-task as you would be with a full-night's sleep, and you can not possibly play a game of Starcraft without making mistakes. Thanks for discussing your play though, Jinro. Ignore the jibber-jabber, although the disappointment is only because people want to see you succeed. GL next season.

We've all seen Jinro play some amazing games in the past and defeating good players. With all due respect for people posting on TL, I don't think he needs a lesson in mechanics, especially not from anyone around here. Things can go bad all the time and yes they can go bad a few seasons in a row. You get stressed or something, do a tiny mistake and it cascades. It can cost you the game in such a competitive tournament where even players that are deemed "bad" know and will take advantage of everything you do wrong. It's not the end of the world though. We all know Jinro has the talent and I think people get genuinely frustrated because we are all rooting for him so much. But please, what's done is done just look to the future and let it rest. Jinro fighting, <3 you man!

Id say theres a difference in his TvZ and TvP/TvT (he seems to have a much better grasp of TvT and TvP, his TvZ seems a frustrating experience of late). He mostly went down to code A on his TvZ. These games he could have taken; it's huge to get outside your practice routine and in to full consciousness in a game. Then you dont have the mental capacity left for whats needed as all your attention and resources are allocated to what normally goes automatically, because it is well trained.

Your mechanics are fine, people just don't realize how easy it is to point out mistakes from an observer's point of view without really knowing what's going on. From what I've seen your mechanics are solid; just because there were some mistakes in one series from one night people will jump all over you and say you're bad. Everyone has on or off days. It's a shame you couldn't sleep the night before, was it because of anticipation for your match or just general insomnia? I recommend trying some chamomile tea if you can't sleep (it's a natural sleep aid.)

![]() But don't worry you guys - the Ro32 was the most important match, staying in Code A is the clincher that made this season already a success. And I firmly believe that both of you easily have the potential to get to the Ro8 next season (if Sheth chooses to stay for a couple more weeks)! Here's hoping FXO picks it up later today!
