As an occasional Ebay user, I always liked browsing thru the 'Completed items" tab to see what people have sold and for how much / when. So I figured I'd start one here. (Thought it was different enough from the other thread to make a new one)

Anyways, I guess rules are there should only be items you've actually FOUND (ie - not flipped).

Why do you think that? Legendaries of a particular ilvl can drop anywhere any item of that ilvl can drop afaik. ilvl 63s can drop in A1, thus legendaries that are 63 can as well?

Or am I missing something?

You would think so, but its the same as with plans.

Unless the 50 or so people I have talked to with hundreds of paragon levels combined in act1 hardcore should somehow not find a 63 legendary after 3?weeks.

I guess if I'm the only one posting, then yes. It is bragging/stroking/etc. But this is the internets, and people are bored, amused, curious as to other's success/failures at the game of Diablo. I see all these negative posts about how terrible the game is and decided to post one of how a mediocre dps/geared player can at the very least, sell enough random crap to have enough Blizzard balance to buy the next D3 expansion or Starcraft xpack. I 'cashed out' a few times during my D3 time - pre-ias nerf, etc - and probably will soon again. This is just a list of the notable things I've found and sold. I did my share of flipping on items I decided to focus on (Nat's Mark, Black's Medal, etc) but feel free to add, contribute, of flame this thread. I am amused at some of the items I sold in the past that wouldn't be worth the salvage essense now. (like the rare shield) heh. And who can not love buying a set of mf+indestructible gear to break pots in Act 4?

Since I've gotten a few PMs on if its better to sell directly on RMAH or selling on gold AH then RMAHing the gold, I put together this mini guide/chart to determine if you feel your item is worth more than $250, and feel the need to sell on the gold AH instead.

This obviously depends on the current gold rate, so this is a simple chart on how much gold you'd need to sell the item for to be equivalent to just selling it for $250 on the RMAH. This assumes you just take the gold and sell it on the RMAH vs using the gold capital to flip high end items or whatnot.

Gold AH there is a fee for each successful auction, already calculated in the chart. For those wanting to just get Blizz Balance instead of Paypal, the gold equivalent is ~3% lower, so not much different.

But to get this back on topic... sort of... pretty much every ring I've found since 1.04 has ended up being the Wedding Band. Not a great ring, but consistently sells for a few bucks, so it was a shock to find this, and even with a partial Monk roll to boot. Unfortunately it rolled str, so I didn't think it would sell easily... and true to form, no one wanted it for a few M. So after a few re-lists I went to check the RMAH and there were even less rings there, but the lowest was around $50, so I priced mine at half that and.. it sold. So for not too searched for items, if you have time, check both AHs when undercutting. :-) There is usually a delta in value and people might just impulse buy.. if they see a 1d12hr! ;-D

Finally, a good Monk weapon dropped for me in 1.04! (bad Won Kims don't count!). Of course no socket, but it sold instantly for $29.99. Would have been an upgrade technically, but the fists looks absolutely TERRIBLE! After reading the 1.05 PTR notes, sets will drop probably at the same rate as Legendaries... so better to sell now! In fact, I think every patch is a time to sell!

Probably noob-question, but: Are you running some kind of program that´s showing you the drop in game or did you just edit these screenshots?
Haven´t found a single set-item in roughly 400h playtime and best i´ve ever sold was a babarian- legendary amulet that sold for 20 mio...fml
But i´m now at 300% MF running act3, so i´m REALLY hoping to change that.
