Hey, as requested by Jealous I sat down and made a FPReplays plugin for Chaos Launcher.
This is currently beta, as there is no way to turn the FPView on and of and there might (im pretty sure actually ;D ) be some bugs.
You can download the plugin here:

You should be able to use this plugin on ICCup, you can use it with my ICC Plugins Loader
So go ahead and try it, and post any bugs and feature wishes.
CLARIFICATION:
You have to record your game with this plugin active. The "First Person Replay" will be saved into maps/fpreps/123.rep.
If you want to watch a replay with first person view, you have to load one of the replays in 123.rep.

My BW crashed right away upon entering the game. I did get to the game map, but before anything happened, an error occurred and BW was forced to close. Any suggestions? Thanks for your hard work!

Is it similar as the plug-in that came with Penguin plug 5 years ago ? That was already pretty good.

When i put this plugin to the load list, when I run a replay, BW crashes at the start of the replay. Do I need anything in addition? Some runtime libs?
When the countdown starts, if I'm in windows, I can't hear the countdown sound, eventhough the gui fix is on. Downloaded the new gui fix from the other thread, the countdown sound works, but I get constantly booted off icc (memory modification), in channel, in game, in lobby, in game creation screen... :<
I've also noticed that the apm change rate gets slowed down when the menu is open. xD
Any chance of modifying/increasing the number of files displayed in the folder? Right now if there's too many replays/maps in a folder the new ones won't be displayed. That could be included in the gui fix file.
Also, auto-join channel at start? Please? :D Or autofill a pre-set game name/password in the create game screen? I know I'm asking too much, but this would be awesome.

As other people said, it happens at the start of the replay
Suggestion:
You and a friend are in a game and both of you have first person replay plugin enabled, we should be able to combine our replays together so we can switch between who's screen we're watching during a replay just like in sc2

I made this from scratch, and it wont play FPReps recorded with PP as I didn't feel like to reverse Ashurs way of saving the data. I once did it, but can't remember anything nor documented anything.
As soon as it's out of beta I'll release the source so shit like this wont happen again.

The one I made about 2 years ago (never released it) had this feature, I think I'll add it to this one aswell, it needs to work with basic functionality first though :D

No, just download the new one, it was a bug.

I forgot to upload the new icctv.bwl aswell, which whitelists the GUIFixes.bwl. Redownload icctv.bwl from the other thread and it shouldn't kick you from ICC anymore.

You mean from APMalert? If yes, ask tec27, he made APMalert, I don't have anything to do with that :D

About how many replays/maps are you talking? The windows listbox limit is 32768, I can't change that without major work. Or are you talking about single player? I could have a look into that one, not sure though if there is an easy way to do it.
The auto join channel should be possible, done that one once already, can't see the use case for filling gamename/pw.
Btw, you should talk about GUIFixes in the other thread, this one is just to make FPReplay work.
This FPReplay records your screen position and plays the recorded data if you load such a replay. It wont emulate FPPlay as the PenguinPlug one did, as that is not accurate anyway, so I think thats quite useless anyway.
IMPORTANT: if it crashes, please post the fpreplay.bw.log file so I can see what happened before the crash, thx. and remember this is BETA, so I'm most likely going to change the replay file format without backward compatibility. This is testing, for people who would like to help. so far I could record and play replays, but I didn't test with normal replays, thats why most of you had crashes at the begin of reps.

-At some point in the fpr replay, the screen automatically moves all the way to the topleft of the map and doesn't update anymore
-You should also include what the player selects and where the person orders units to move
-There isn't a config file so you should disable the config button in chaoslauncher
-You should make an overlay and display what units/buildings are hotkeyed

Would doing the simulated FPView be a lot of work using your current build? That was actually what I wanted to see the most because even if it's not entirely accurate it was wild just watching pros cycle through things at fast speed xD
