Hey, as requested by Jealous I sat down and made a FPReplays plugin for Chaos Launcher.
This is currently beta, as there is no way to turn the FPView on and of and there might (im pretty sure actually ;D ) be some bugs.
You can download the plugin here:

You should be able to use this plugin on ICCup, you can use it with my ICC Plugins Loader
So go ahead and try it, and post any bugs and feature wishes.
CLARIFICATION:
You have to record your game with this plugin active. The "First Person Replay" will be saved into maps/fpreps/123.rep.
If you want to watch a replay with first person view, you have to load one of the replays in 123.rep.

My BW crashed right away upon entering the game. I did get to the game map, but before anything happened, an error occurred and BW was forced to close. Any suggestions? Thanks for your hard work!

When i put this plugin to the load list, when I run a replay, BW crashes at the start of the replay. Do I need anything in addition? Some runtime libs?
When the countdown starts, if I'm in windows, I can't hear the countdown sound, eventhough the gui fix is on. Downloaded the new gui fix from the other thread, the countdown sound works, but I get constantly booted off icc (memory modification), in channel, in game, in lobby, in game creation screen... :<
I've also noticed that the apm change rate gets slowed down when the menu is open. xD
Any chance of modifying/increasing the number of files displayed in the folder? Right now if there's too many replays/maps in a folder the new ones won't be displayed. That could be included in the gui fix file.
Also, auto-join channel at start? Please? :D Or autofill a pre-set game name/password in the create game screen? I know I'm asking too much, but this would be awesome.

As other people said, it happens at the start of the replay
Suggestion:
You and a friend are in a game and both of you have first person replay plugin enabled, we should be able to combine our replays together so we can switch between who's screen we're watching during a replay just like in sc2

I made this from scratch, and it wont play FPReps recorded with PP as I didn't feel like to reverse Ashurs way of saving the data. I once did it, but can't remember anything nor documented anything.
As soon as it's out of beta I'll release the source so shit like this wont happen again.

The one I made about 2 years ago (never released it) had this feature, I think I'll add it to this one aswell, it needs to work with basic functionality first though :D

No, just download the new one, it was a bug.

I forgot to upload the new icctv.bwl aswell, which whitelists the GUIFixes.bwl. Redownload icctv.bwl from the other thread and it shouldn't kick you from ICC anymore.

About how many replays/maps are you talking? The windows listbox limit is 32768, I can't change that without major work. Or are you talking about single player? I could have a look into that one, not sure though if there is an easy way to do it.
The auto join channel should be possible, done that one once already, can't see the use case for filling gamename/pw.
Btw, you should talk about GUIFixes in the other thread, this one is just to make FPReplay work.
This FPReplay records your screen position and plays the recorded data if you load such a replay. It wont emulate FPPlay as the PenguinPlug one did, as that is not accurate anyway, so I think thats quite useless anyway.
IMPORTANT: if it crashes, please post the fpreplay.bw.log file so I can see what happened before the crash, thx. and remember this is BETA, so I'm most likely going to change the replay file format without backward compatibility. This is testing, for people who would like to help. so far I could record and play replays, but I didn't test with normal replays, thats why most of you had crashes at the begin of reps.

Would doing the simulated FPView be a lot of work using your current build? That was actually what I wanted to see the most because even if it's not entirely accurate it was wild just watching pros cycle through things at fast speed xD

I just tested it with a normal game (about 20 mins) and everything worked. Maybe you had your mouse on the upper left corner? Also I never saw a difference with the replay lengths so far, can you reproduce that? I checked the replays and the headers of the replays are different, can't explain that as I don't mess arround with the headers, I just append the data at the end of the replays so the rep itself wont get corrupted.
- I plan to add the mouse positions to the data, I'm not sure if it's gonna be easy to include selections aswell.
- This is currently beta, thats why the config button doesn't do shit as of now, later on it will have configurable stuff.
- I don't think I'm going to add an overlay with all the hotkeys, as thats a shitload of work and you can simply scroll through the hotkeys yourself.
- Hmm, is this related or something completely different?
Those are all UMS replays, so I'm not sure whats happening there. UMS replays are problematic anyway, so I wont support that until normal games work properly.

The emulated FPView is a lot of work as I would need to process all the actions, and it sucks hard as it just centers the screen on where the action happens, which is sometimes simply wrong. Like when you send units on the minimap you ar enot actually looking at that location but the emulation centers the screen there anyway. Same with macro, when you hotkey your buildings the screen doesn't need to be there but could, so thats why I wont implement that.

You put the plugin into your Chaos Launcher folder. I prefer to put it in a folder called plugins inside the Chaos Launcher directory, but thats up to you.
I updated the plugin, added some more logging and some ingame messages.
You can disable/enable the FPPlay with Ctrl+Y now (need input on what key combo to use as some are used by different languages).

Really cool initiative--thanks for doing this!
I downloaded the file and put it in my minilauncher folder but it doesn't really seem to work . It creates a new folder and lets me toggle back and forth but whether I have FPPlay on or off, i still get it as a normal replay. Anyways, looking forward to using this once I can get it to work, and thanks again!

thanks for the help but still .., i just have to load replays in any mode multiplayer , or singleplayer, or im batlenet?? , how i know when its working or not , what i have to do to see a player fp view , replays are of 2 players and whow can i choose what player i want to see my keyboard is in english, key combo is ....,whay kind of replays i hae to load wich plugins i can use with this plug in , all? or some plugins cant work with this?? please help me , i just tried loading replays with apm alert, gui dixes,fpreplay,repfix,, in multiplayer and singleplayer and i cant see anything .

You could load your replays anywhere. This plugin creates a new folder called 'fpreps' and that's the replays you have to load if you want to view in first person. Right now, you can only view in first person of yourself only.

If it's anything like the old one, you won't really be able to just take normal reps and turn them into FP  It will have to be recorded using the program to append special FP information to the rep. The old one was really fun tho, so it would still be awesome!

aw doesnt work for me T_T the replay dont save when the game finish,or i have to uncheck the autosabe buttom from chaois plugin??, and the replay of the fpreplay folder is mixed , i mean i have a replay lastreplay.rep and i play a new game and the fp rep what i can see is mixed lastreplay.rep game with my last game played action ,mmm how can i say , i watch like fp actions my last game , but with the game before this , T_T can some1 helpme , replay with wrong fp actions

i think the plug in have conflicts with other plugins , i tried using just the fp plugin , nothing else , and all works fine , some1 can tell me what is the plug in that causes conflict with this plug in?? , may the replay autosave ??

Hmmm, the replay is broken (one on one on iccup), it doesn't record the commands correctly I think. :<
Also, sometimes it crashes at the end of the game, I think right at the moment when it's supposed to save the replay.
Otherwise everything is working now.

Ok, I think I found the bug with the corupted replays, I was copying them to early or something. I save them now manually, should be better now.
Also added a little message that the recording is taking place.
Thx, for all the beta testing, it's so much easier to find bugs like this.

What map were you playing?
Melee and simple ums maps works with this plugin but more trigger reliant maps probably won't.

Fixed some of the bugs, like the one that would asign the current actions to the last replay (I'm such an idiot, used to wrong function to save the replay, hahaha)
Added recording of the mouse position.
Added compression of the data, this should make the replays a lot smaller.
The replays have now heading zeros so they will be in order.
I still need to add the selections, not sure how I will do this, maybe read the replay data or simulate the mouse clicks, not really sure.
This version is not compatible with old versions.

Does anyone still use this? Been trying to use whauzgood's iccup plugin loader and this replay plugin but to no avail. I tried copying his chaoslauncher and using that but the plugins won't load on iccup. Would really appreciate some help! This is a goldmine!

even i tried download readt fp reps, it says: error, corrupted, compressing...
