Jittery stream when using 120hz on my monitor!

Hi

I'm currently having jitter issues on my stream: Watch from 3 to 6 minutes for an example (I start out with 120hz, change to 60hz and then to 100, 110 and 120 again): http://www.justin.tv/bushwakko/b/290694197

My computer is a i5 running at 4ghz (quad core), with 8gb ram, ssd and radeon 6950 and an LG WD2363d monitor.

I've tried setting both resolution, bitrate and fps low. I'm currently running 720 with 25fps and 3500 bitrate. Which doesn't seem to be limited by my 4mb/s upload rate (as I've tried as low as 2000 with same problems).

I'm using vh screen capture, flash media encoder and VAC to get sound mixed (using g35 headset). Anyone have any idea here? Or are there any other streamers with 120hz monitors?

You should probably restart the stream after changing refresh rate, I doubt all programs handle it gracefully. Your problem seems to be you are dropping frames in FMLE, so your quality settings are too high. Reduce the resolution and other settings until you don't get any dropped frames reported in FMLE, or just switch to XSplit.

Are you the R1CH guy from r1q2? Anyway, FMLE reports no dropped frames. I have dropped settings down, but it doesn't seem to matter. I also started out in 120hz and dropped to 60hz and it got better instantly, as is apparent from the video I linked. I think this is most likely some kind of sync og timing issue, either with fmle or vhscap, maybe they just assume 60hz or something.

^^^ There in lies your problem lol 8mb ram lewl ohh and I did not realize ssd were now disks.

On a side note I got a 120hz monitor and no problems with xsplit for me.

Well solid state drives are also not really driven by anything mechanical, so the name ssd in itself can be construed as a misnomer.
