PvP 2 Gate in base How to Stop?

If I go fast tech cyber or 9/10 gate and then tester build i always get raped even on LT maps against 2gate. How do u stop the onslaught of zele's?

When I'm playing vs protoss, I always scout my base for bullshit/cheese, protoss players love to proxy gates or cannons or both in your base, I've lost so much to this stuff, now I always scout my whole base with my pylon building probe.
When you're feeling down, I'll be there to feel you up!

Fast tech cyber should be able to beat both 2 gate and proxy 2 gate, at least I usually beat them.

What it comes down to is a micro fest. My buildings are all placed in a clump so they can't get too many zealots attacking a single pylon. They are also closer to my mineral line so I only have to defend one point. What I do is dance my zealot back and force until I lure them close to my mineral line. I will pull some probes and surround enemy zealots to attack. Probes take 3 hits to kill with zealots. After a probe gets attacked once, I pull it back on minerals. If you do this perfectly, you should be able to win the initial fight with 2 zealots and 8 probes vs 4 zealots without losing a single probe. You might lose a zealot though. At this point, you should have 2 gates, a cyber, 3 pylon, and 2 gases up. Keep on chrono boosting your gates and mine gas only from one geyser. When you have enough gas, get stalkers, and spend the rest on zealots. Since the battle is going on at your base, you can macro and micro in the same screen, which gives you a distinct advantage over your opponent. Once the first stalker pops out, you know you won, because there is no way early zealots can flank a stalker.

If you get 1 gate and then cyber, like Chairman Ray said, it all comes down to micro and your sim city, particularly with your stalker/sentry. If you mess up forcefielding the ramp, you'll probably lose. If you mess up your stalker kiting, you'll probably lose. Don't be afraid to pull 6 or so probes off to block off his zealots while your range units poke at them.

When your stalker ball starts growing, his zealot force will be no match for them, and his tech and economy will be severely crippled.

I haven't ran into this in a while.. mostly run into this kinda stuff in 3v3 or 4v4 lol

I agree with this post, 'sim city' makes handling 2 gate pressure that much easier.

Sim City + Sentry magic into gg
Ideally if they rush you with 4 lots you can force field off your ramp or put yourself in a position where only one of their lots can attack yours. With Sentry backup you can hold off the initial lots until your 2nd gate is up. Once you have stalkers on the high ground, the 2 gate has falled and your tech is ahead. You should be able to transit that into a victory

If you see an empty base from your opponent just throw down a forge and 1-2 cannons instantly and you should be save and ahead. If the proxy is in your base just build a cannon in range and you should probably won right there.
