Hi, everyone

I've been looking for someone who could translate some text that I have in English to Korean. I was told that this community is very big so I have a chance to meet someone who has the will to do this for me. I think there is no need to say this but you will be given full credit for your work, but that's all I have to give cuz this isn't even something I'm doing for my own benefit. I've posted the link to the text that I want to be translated below so take a look at tell me if you like to give it a shot. I will explain more if you want me to, so please ask if you need to know something more about this project. thanks for reading this.

Excellent contribution for your first post. Maybe if it was related to SC, or if you were more transparent about your motives for translating it, someone would help you.

+1

and after this thread OP will probably never touch his account ever again.

All I want to do is to translate this for the Korean community of IB players thats all. I'm not perfect you know, to me that was a nice way to ask. It's not like I want this for myself.

What is IB?
How is that relevant to a community of BW players?

TBH I would do that if I could.
BTW, this is general talk. So I thought I'm allowed to talk about something other than SC o.O
And here is something you might not know, I did these stuff not for the credit of it, I did it just because it feels good to share what knowledge I had with others. If you aren't that kind of person then I advise you to ignore this thread cuz you will both ruin your mood and mine too. If anyone is willing to do this favor for me I'd be very grateful. I don't take internet very seriously but there is a limit for how much I will put out for something

Well it does seem kinda disrespectful that you would ask a completely non-sc related favor with your first post, because it suggests that it was the sole reason for you joining at all.

All you have to offer is full credit for the translation? That's not up to anyone to offer. The translator deserves credit.

Part-time translation jobs in Korea are well-paid. They're much harder work than you are making them out to be. If you really need this done, you should be paying out of pocket.

This request isn't as simple as translating one sentence from English to Korean, or solving a math problem.

Doesn't this give us less reason to help you? I seriously doubt this is not for yourself. You just want free translation in order for you to expand your website to the Koreans.

Don't mind these geeks. I'll have it done by midnight in return for all you've done for the community.
Make sure you capitalize the W when you are so graciously giving me credit.

50 dollars for that is on the low side right?

I'd expect it to be more for a quality translation. Of course my guess is that Dem0nHunter will have no idea whether or not it is a quality translation or not.

Actually, that sounds about right. Firms in Korea hire kids with no prior experience for $20-30/page.

I can read English if that helps.

Just on the subject I think we should set up some type of information exchange with the korean followers. We could use each other's help. Apparently the koreans havnt even been told about the new protoss macro mechanics.

50 dollars for an A4 page of text... it adds up

It's flexible though, depending on the client and nature of the project.
